Reviews on International food in Meknes, Meknes-Tafilalet Region, Morocco. Overlooked by many tourists, Meknes is a bustling modern city of nearly a million in northern Morocco, about 80 miles inland from the capital of Rabat. Local hero Moulay Ismail made Meknes Morocco's hub at the end of the 17th and beginning of the 18th centuries, and his mausoleum is one of the city's main attractions. The Museum of Moroccan Art (housing fascinating jewels and artifacts) and Bab Mansour (the largest and most stunning of the city's gates) are other Meknes sights not to be missed.

Un cadre agréable, un concept coloré et un menu très varié
Located just outside of the medina, this fast food joint has cheap options. Beware the tacos have french fries in them. Seemed like frozen chicken. Nothing great, but fine for a quick bite.

I have been in Meknes last year and by accident i discovered this Restaurant. The atmosphere is calm, elegant and romantic! There was a big choice of food! But the most think i liked is the fact that the staff speaks english because mine experience learns that the most people overthere are french speaking! To bear repetition!James

After wandering around trying to find a different restaurant my husband, father, and I, stumbled upon La Coupole. The dark interior is quite pleasant and there was live music the night we were there. My father was desperate for something hot to soothe his stomach so, we were aghast to be told there were no hot beverages on the menu. None. At all. Rather than try to find someplace else Dad contented himself by ordering the soup. Imagine our surprise when a few minutes later the waiter brought by the best mint tea Dad had thus in Morocco. Seeing our distress the waiter had taken it upon himself to go to the cafe next door and bring some to us. Talk about service! And the food's good, too.

We were at this restaurant with friends. In this place, we found only odby positive point - great view. Everything else was not just bad, and very bad. We had the feeling that the chef never cooked before, and we were his first clients. All the food was absolutely disgusting and tasteless.Service was just as disgusting as well, waiter watched football.

This is a face paced restaurant that is popular, but has service worked out perfectly. Busy, but you do not feel rushed. Offers good mint tea, delicious looking desserts, as well as traditional Moroccan food. One of the specialties was a seafood pizza, good thin crust and plenty of good and varied fish and shellfish toppings. Recommended for the food and reasonable prices.
