Bwino sandwiches truck sells vegetarian, vegan and meat sandwiches in a freshly baked baguette or ciabatta, fresh salads and coffee from a food truck. We are parked in the City Centre near Old Mutual building, Road Traffic, Escom and Puma Filling Station.
This is a food truck, it sits surrounded by a few tall trees in a parking lot. The sandwiches are fantastic. My husband says the coffee is good.
The quality and variety presented during the dinner and breakfast meals is maybe worthy of a 2-star rating. I stayed at the property for seven days and ate two meals a day at the restaurant six of the seven. The food is prepared in an amateurish fashion and with minimal to no attention to detail from the head chef. Every dinner meal the meats were extremely overcooked and completely dry. The meats had absolutely no flavor and were tough to eat, almost as tough as the biltong on the serving line. The desserts were absolutely terrible - every one I tried over the week spent at the property. The breakfast buffet was bland with no variety from day to day. If it hadn't been included in the price of the room I would not have eaten breakfast. Too expensive for mediocre food. Hotel management needs to seriously talk to the head chef directing him to raise the bar on the preparation and quality of what's being served. the food served is a total ripoff.I have to return in a few months. I'll pack plenty of food in my suitcase and find alternate restaurants to frequent. I'm sure there are better places serving better prepared food and have better quality choices to choose from.

this resturand is part of the crossroads hotel. specializing in indian cuisine. you are always made welcome by the manager and food is freshly prepared. their naans are fresh and crispy. their butter chicken is very nice . sometimes service is slow if they have other functions going on but generally its okay. you can relax in a reasonably quite atmosphere and enjoy your meal. try their sizzlers also nice. you have to specify the level of heat in your food otherwise they are a tad heavy .

Grateful to my host for bringing me to this fine dinning place! Excellent ambient, delicious food. We had one of the ubiquitous power outages in Malawi, which shut the credit card machine temporarily: to be on the safe side, we ordered cheaper dishes. The chicken fillet was easily among the best I ever had. Yes, service was a bit slow later in the night but very knowledgeable and understanding. Not your average low-price dinning in Malawi, though. Expect to pay a bit more for the locale!Daer vini00, Thanks for taking the time to review your experience with us at Latitude 13 Degrees. We are glad that you enjoyed your meal - and the ambiance that we work so hard to create for our diners and guests. I'm sorry to hear that the credit card machine was down; I presume that this was the provider's issue, as we have a very large back up generator to ensure that the power cuts limit inconvenience flat by our patrons. We hope that we will be welcoming you back again soon, to try the new menus that we launched in mid-February. All the best!

Enjoyed a fabulous luncheon here. Everything was superb with great attention to detail all ingredients were fresh. Worth going out of your way. Onwer of the cafe is an artist specializing in unique wood carvings and crafts which are truly works of art. These are on display and for sale in her shop adjacent to the cafe
