I went here shortly after 6 p.m. unfortunately the restaurant was empty I was a sole customer. The food was tasty, the portion substantial. The Bündner burger was a bit over-done but still very good the country cuts delicious. The service was friendly and attentive.

Although this listing is aimed at bar and restaurant it's important to recognise our experience using their Airbnb This location is a 1 minute walk from the train station so enjoys an excellent location. Great if you have lots of luggage. We were met by the bar owners father and were shown to a great room with direct access to the elevated private patioThe room called Bernina is large and clean with a double bed and a single. We paid around £60 For the night. For this you get shared access to a well equipped shared kitchen and shared bathroom My only criticism is that if like to see window coverings such as curtains. Chur residents are up early and when you are getting dressed there us nowhere to hide from the busy office block that stares into the windowsOther than that, it was a very pleasant stay. The restaurant seemed busy with lovely outside seatingI'd definitely return

I spent a couple of nights in Chur on a trip to Switzerland and we ate here the first night we arrived. It was convenient to local transportation and we thought it would be fun to try Mexican food in Switzerland. I had CANASTA CON POLLO Y PIÃA - grilled chicken in a tortilla bowl with lettuce, pineapple, and salsa. The food was excellently prepared and delicious. I was surprised at how full I was after eating what appeared to be a rather small portion. The service was good, considering how full the restaurant was. The only negative comment is that the dish cost CH 23 which seems very expensive for this meal. This restaurant serves Mexican food unlike anything I have ever eaten in the States.

Driving across Switzerland, we needed a decent lunch. Yelp found us the Rosengarten - which turned out to be the Loe..........they had a car park so we tried it.Our language skills didn't mesh but we communicated enough to order a lovely pork steak with chips and a medley of fresh veg. The food was fresh and well cooked, the portions generous and the surroundings quiet, sparsely elegant and spotless. We couldn't have hoped for better just a couple of minutes from the main road.

Comfortable smal Oldtown Restaurant directly at the St. Martinsplace
Came to Chur for a day trip and found dead this restaurant while exploring. I noticed that they had my favourite speciality from the region on their card: Capuns. It was absolutely delicious and the service was super friendly even though they were very busy during lunch. Definitely recommending this restaurant and hopping to go back soon.

Two years ago I wrote a review saying this place was so good, we'd eaten there twice! The same applies again. Friendly and attentive staff and the food was as well-presented and delicious as we'd remembered. The restaurant is about five minutes walk from the station and not in the old town so as a tourist you wouldn't walk past it as a matter of course but it is well worth making the effort to find it. I've no doubt we will return on our next visit to Chur.
