I've dined here multiple times since 2009 on my many motorbike trips criss-crossing eastern Indonesia. I've seen it grow from 3 berugaks, standing in the placid waters of the bay, to 14. It is a very popular stop over for truck drivers and travelers on their way across Sumbawa. Why?Fresh fish, barbequed in the traditional way over glowing charcoal, served with the most delicious sambal, a wedge of lime and fresh salad. Throw in a blue sky, lapping waves, gentle breezes and excellent service from Ibu Endang, Pak Saifuddin and staff, and you have the perfect spot to break your journey

If you're looking for good music and to meet progressive young people in SB then this is the place. Interesting snack food, cool drinks, great music and people. Owner Nuova and family are lovely people who will make you feel welcome. Love the decor and feel of this place. Different and interesting.

Best café and restaurant in Sumbawa Besar we found so far. You need to try the delicious food (especially the probably world-best Mie Goreng) in that awesome ambience. There's no netter place for eating and drinking in this area.

I visited Aneka Rasa Jaya (Various Great Tastes) with a friend I met whilst travelling through Sumbawa Besar. It was mid-week so pretty quiet - only one other table was occupied. It's a Chinese-Indonesian restaurant so all the local favorites are available. The menu is huge and the servings likewise. It was clean and our meals were served promptly. Prices were very reasonable. Sumbawa Besar is well off the tourist trail.

We went had breakfast, lunch and dinner litterally every day for over a week while in west sumbawa, fish steak, vegetables soup and chicken mushroom are my favorites. They do their own bread and pizzas.
