I was attracted to the smell of Indian food that âwaftedâ towards me whilst walking homeSo I investigated further, and established it was originating from this restaurant, and was full of promise....How wrong was I...??In all my years of eating Indian food I have never eaten a butter nan bread saturated in poppy seeds, not recommended..!!I have also never experienced onion rings in a baji batter, again not very pleasantThe Chicken Tika Masala was very average and quite a small portion...not worth the moneyThe only saving grace was the very pleasant waitress, she was very niceNot recommended based on food quality

Cosy Indian restaurant build on friendship, family ties and old recopies all in a stylish and warm settings.
A restaurant serving authentic food from India â prepared by two chefs from India is simply exciting! So we had to try this restaurant and we had a good time. The service is very welcoming and friendly, and respectfully letting the customers make their own choices, without stress or pushing own agenda. We noticed that just inside the door you are met by a small table serving thin slices of naan bread with various small sauces â a snack of welcome, weather you wait for a table or wait for your take-away food. How many restaurants do that? We had reserved a table â fortunately, as this place was full even on a Wednesday evening. The food we ordered was very delicious and if you order âspicyâ it certainly is spicy! The restaurant itself is small and very cozy, you feel at ease as the atmosphere is relaxed and informal. This is a place where a very dedicated, competent and super friendly staff is making you feel really comfortable while serving you great food. We had a very nice first visit â and certainly not the last!

We have take-away from Bindia 2-4 times each month and the food is really good. The chicken korma is a classic for my husband and kids but I often choose the spinach bahji. The food is mostly made from organic veggies and meat. The portions are rather large and 2 dishes are enough for 3 people. Only downside is that the rice is warmed up in a microwave just before pickup so we often boil our own rice.

Not really a cosy venue, it's much like a cafeteria. The staff is on the surface polite but don't be fooled, the customer really don't matter to them.We ended up leaving.... and will not be back.
We live quite far away from this restaurant and we decided to get delivery. We ordered a few different dishes. The delivery was exactly on time! Perfect! The food was mostly warm, except for the onion rings and naan. Those were cold.It was quite expensive for the amount of food we got, but I guess that is usual for Indian restaurants. We still enjoyed the food and were happy to be able to order something else than the usual pizza or kebab. We might order again, just no naan or onion rings anymore :)

Shaap is Scandinavia's first restaurant to serve cuisine from Kerala, a south-western state in India.
Warm reception as well as intro by the owner. Good recommendations and suggestions. Very tasty food and friendly, family like atmosphere. Only point with room for improvement are that a waiter had to come back twice to ask about the order, once he forgot a starter and once a drink. Make sure you order enough as portions are normal size, not the large sharing platters some might expect when ordering Indian food.We will definitely come back
