No amount of words can express how great this restaurant is. From the moment we entered and were greeted with energy and enthusiasm by the manager (Zahid), confirmed all the brilliant reviews which ive heard about New Mogul prior to my visit. The waiters are extremely attentive, professional and very knowledgeable on the food they have to offer and different herbs & spices. The curries were unique, full of flavour, the meats was succulent, the bread was fresh and soft, the rice nice and fluffy. We will definitely be visiting again very soon. Thank you New Mogul for making a regular weekend meal a true dining experience.

My wife and I decided last minute to walk down to the Voujon for a meal and we are so glad we did. We were greeted by the owner who was so friendly and directed us to the newer dining room to the rear of the restaurant which is beautifully decorated with neat LED lighting. The waiter who took our order was very jovial and we had some great banter. We ordered from the Masterchef Creations and Tawa Specials as we prefer the more authentic Indian food instead of the Anglicised Indian food which is just too sloppy. We ordered the Shaslick Bhuna and Tawa Chicken Tikka Jalfrezi with side order of Pilau Rice and Plain NanWOW it was delicious and we decided to finish off all of the Jalfrezi between us as it was so delicious - there was no trace of the meal after we wiped up ever bit with the nan. Best Jalfrezi EVER !!We decided to ask for the Bhuna to be boxed up to go and they threw in a complimentary Pilau Rice to boot. All in a very enjoyable dining experience and my favourite Indian Restaurant in Banbury - canât wait till my next visit.

Dropped in for a meal with a mate and friendly staff were very attentive without being annoying which happens all too often in Indian restaurants.Food was quickly served, fresh and very tasty accompanied by an enormous naan bread. All in with a meal each and 2 rounds of drinks we only paid £40 !!Definitely, recommend the Jay Pur if you are looking for an affordable and tasty Indian meal with friends.

This is some of finest Indian cuisine in Banbury. My chef is award winner with 25 years experience. We are really contemporary and traditional.
Myself and 7 friends went for a meal and everyone of us said it was beautiful food, so tasty and delicious. Poppodoms and dips to start served within minutes of entering. We all had a Sunday banquet deal £11.95 for starter, main and rice or nan. Excellent value especially given how tasty food was, most of us said it was best we have had. The nan was so fluffy and light. The service was top class, the atmosphere was relaxed. Definitely be back next year.

After hearing so much about this place I was anticipating the best curry ever. A random lunch time we ventured in and was totally underwhelmed. A cold restaurant, I understand it was only us but donât open if you canât offer the same experience. We ordered a hot curry and a mild curry. The presentation was superb and they looked very different but the hot one was mild and they were both bland. I left feeling like it was one of the worst curries I have had. So disappointed

A spur of the moment decision to have a table for four we were seated quickly as the restaurant was only half full we waited a while and were offered drinks and poppadoms which came out reasonably quickly we ordered our meals and waited and waited after 40 minutes we asked after our order and the waiter looked shocked that we had the cheek to ask he made a mumbled comment and disappeared a further 20 minutes and several other enquiries from fellow customers who had also got fed up with waiting and our food finally arrived happily it was good food and tasty but I would recommend packing a snack box and comfortable clothing for the wait
