We were amazed at the bill for our basic vegetarian meal. Also the waiting time was ridiculous (half hour!). Quality wise was not ideal and my wife did get tummy issues after.

My wife picked this restaurant for her special birthday dinner. On arrival I mentioned it was her birthday and asked for a quiet table and I was given many choices. Dinner food and service was beyond exceptional and this restaurant is gorgeous. When we asked for the bill my wife was surprised to receive a wonderful piece of cake and a glass of bubbly for her birthday free. I would recommend this restaurant as one of the best I have ever been to because of the food quality and the level of service.

You can choose the amount of heat; but beware, the heat will only increase your desire to eat more of this delicious Indian food. Totally authentic Indian food, including meat and vegan dishes, you have such a difficult time trying to narrow down choices that you may need to return again and again! Make sure to order the fresh vegetable salad in case the heat of other dishes is too much!

I had a hankering for good Indian food in the Jessup Maryland area and searched Trip Advisor. This gem came up so I decided to order take out - I could not be more pleased. Fast online delivery and an extensive menu. I ordered the Meat Samosas - generous sized portions (2) of deep fried pastry filled with mildly spiced lamb and peas. The Chicken Makahni was a very rich and tasty cream sauce with a mild spice and heat and bite sized pieces of chicken. The garlic naan was a delicate oven baked bread brushed with buttery garlic. All items were the perfect temperature when I returned to my hotel room to eat - 10 minutes away. Staff was very welcoming and quick to provide my order. I'll definitely return when I'm back in this area.

I only became aware of this restaurant near me recently after several friends mentioned it. I was surprised at not being aware since it is so highly rated on many sites. We had delicious cocktails to start and worked our way through several different items on the menu which all met our high expectations. Lamb meatballs, mini crabcakes, rosemary naan, and the whole fish (goa) were all exceptional. Only 3 stars??Well, I expect a white tablecloth restaurant with a wine list that appears to have been thoughtfully curated to actually deliver the wines promised. We tried ordering two different wines, we were very familiar with both, we have been to the wineries and I have these wines in my cellar, and twice the restaurant delivered to me a lower tiered wine from the same winery. They searched for the wine described on the list but were unable to locate it. We asked for a manager and before anyone came to see us we were offered the wine presented at a price appropriate to the bottle actually being offered. There are two possible explanations I can think of and both are not good: poor attention to detail when ordering or accepting the wine delivery or, bait and switch as the menu pricing seemed to be based on the higher tier wine described. The food was good enough that I intend to give them another shot. I'll wait a while to see that things can be corrected. My feeling is that if substitutions are being made without notice on the wine list, can I be certain of the integrity of the food descriptions?

Lunch buffet on one of the weekends was great. Great variety and taste however ala carte was a big let down. Food was tasteless and expensive. Might try buffet again but not dinner.
