Reviewed By pepperpot500Checked in for 1 night as traveling through France The room was very tiny. It was not clean and needed repairs carrying out. See photos. It stated we would have bottled water in the room and would have expected a small bottle each. When there was only one for 2 guests we asked at reception for another as thought it was a mistake he shrugged his shoulders and said no, only one !! There was no hair dryer so had to leave with wet hair following my shower which was a work of art as the shower head only pointed towards the wall if you didn’t lift it off. Our room door would only lock if using the deadbolt on the inside so when going for breakfast had to leave it open/ unlocked. We have stayed in better Ibis budget hotels. To say this was supposed to be a styles class it was terrible. The 2 redeeming features were the breakfast that was included in the room rate which was very nice. Also the beds were comfy

Reviewed By Familletroisenfantsbeware! #1 - rooms with keycode lock outside only, unable to lock from the inside: one of our kids just walked out, while we (parents) were sleeping. #2 - door located next to the kid's beds, the double bed is in the second (part of the) room. #3 - not one bed was covered with sheets, despite a written promise on the website. no fun to do that upon late arrival. #4 - no cold tap water, only hot. necessary to buy expensive bottles (1.8 euros for 50 cl) from the vending machine. #5 - when leaving, we found our car seriously damaged. another car had crashed into it while leaving. the only camera outside points to the entry. bad luck.

HORRIBLE STAY, BAD SERVICE, THIEVES
Reviewed By Erwin MHORRIBLE SERVICE AND THIEVES When you stay in an Ibis budget you pay little and get little, that is OK. However, during our stay the lights in our room kept flickering like a stroboscope (see video) on and off during the night, making it virtually impossible to sleep. When we mentioned this to the receptionist in the morning, his reaction was 'oh no, has it started again?'. We emailed a complaint and several times were promised a refund. Initially however the excuse for not executing the refund was 'our accountant is on holiday' or a variation to that theme. We have now send many emails, do no longer receive a reply and have still not received the promised refund. What a bunch of crooks @ibis!

Excellent Stopover
Reviewed By Ian PDecided to cancel a budget hotel we had booked after a bad experience the previous night with their chain - so reverted back to B&B Hotels and so glad we did. Booked online, cheaper than the one I canceled and I sent a message on their contact form in advance asking if possible to have a ground floor as I have recently had heart surgery and didn't want my wife to struggle with our bags. Maria on reception welcomed us with a big smile - accommodated our request - which I wouldn't have complained if she hadn't with only a few hours notice. The room was very clean, bed large and clean - free Chromecast so watched Netflix later on and they also had a couple of English speaking TV channels. Breakfast was a much better standard than similar and dearer priced competitor's with the usual crispy bacon and scrambled eggs included. I will stick with B&B now as we travel through France four times per year and they are the best budget value for money in my opinion. Even got a big smile and au revoir at checkout!!

Very good price*quality ratio, but very noisy due to closeness to the highway
Reviewed By Roving590269If you are not sensible to noise I can advise the hotel for it's price*quality ratio. The reception staff is kind. The rooms are small, but if you need to stay only one night, it is possible to deal with it.

Unbelievably awful
Reviewed By Maureen FThis is the most awful hotel I've ever entered. Walked into a grubby tired reception area. Got into a lift (the floor of which was ripped). Then entered what seemed like a seedy dark corridor with dirty flooring. Scary!!! Then we saw the room. Like a tiny prison cell . Awful tiny bathroom . Dark blue walls bars at window. Dirty bedcovers . Could not have stayed there. They offered another room. This one was larger but had ripped wallpaper and a stained mattress. We walked out , they couldn't pay me enough to sleep there. I realise it's a budget hotel but there is NO excuse for that kind of neglect and grubbiness. Looked like a seedy hostel for down and outs. . This shouldn't be on booking .com or any other website. Disgraceful.
