Overrated, dirty rooms unfriendly staff Hotel Uzwil
Reviewed By froditomStayed yhere only dye to business twice. Both times the room was dirty, clothes of other guests left all over. The 1st time matress no cover, nothing. Unfriendly arrigant staff. Rude treatment at dinner. Untrained staff who deal with business travelers. Absolutely not Swiss standards.

Reviewed By comicrebelThis is a clean, friendly place, near a copy center, restaurants, grocery store, bank machine, great Kabap, bus and train station. The house is over 400 years old, but very well maintained, in a quiet area. The internet is adequate for working remote, speed is variable based on where you are working in the hotel, but good enough for high-reliability, remote telecommuting, accessing database, up/down, and VoIP connections, Whatsapp calls, etc. Clean rooms, plenty of hot water, private and secure. Zoran, the owner is helpful, gracious and friendly, and the coffee is superb. There is a rear terrace/patio for eating outside. The restaurant is just getting started, so I haven't eaten there yet, but it should be good, with a pizza oven. Drinks, beer, patio, office area upstairs. This is the place to stay if you want clean, good economy, and friendly.
