We stayed here for 3 nights to look at all that Tajimi has to offer. The staff were lovely & went out of their way to assist us. The hotel is easy to find from the train station & we found a back road route that was a short walk. The non-smoking twin room was large for Japan & wit was clean and quiet with no smell of cigarette smoke at all. The breakfasts were great with such a good variety of local foods plus bread & coffee. It changed daily. The only rather amusing time was when a tour group from Mainland China were at breakfast having stayed one night. It was absolute chaos at breakfast but the next morning it was serene once again. We enjoyed our stay in Tajimi. We caught a local bus to the Craft Museum just out of town which is worth seeing for the contemporary tea house alone. We also caught a bus to the Folkcraft museum & to the Mosaic Tile museum which was designed by Terunobu Fujimori & is just amazing! We were so glad that we made the effort to go there. We looked around the Oribe street precinct & saw lots of Oribe ware & other pottery. We took a bus to Echo-ji temple & then walked back to town via a Catholic Cathedral & a local hardware shop that was fascinating. Tajimi is an easy train ride from Nagoya & well worth a visit. There is a small tourist information centre at the train station that was extremely helpful.

I was in Tajimi for a wedding and I just needed a hotel for two nights that was clean and close to the wedding location. This hotel met my expectations and then some. Room: The room is small, but all the rooms I stayed in Japan were small, so just know your expectations. (This room was bigger than the room I booked in Kyoto.) The bed was a double, it wasn't soft, but I don't mind a firm mattress. Included in the room was AC, a closet with hangers, TV, mini fridge, hot water kettle, mirror, desk, and luggage rack. Also, free Wifi in the room with a strong signal. Bathroom: Also small (a little larger than a bathroom on an airplane, just add a shower), but again, I don't mind smaller spaces and it was completely adequate. As for amenities, there was shampoo, conditioner and body wash in large bottles that permanently stay with the bathroom. Complimentary toiletries were a toothbrush and paste, brush, razor, and expanding sponge. And paper slippers. The tub was deep and shower pressure was good. Complimentary Breakfast: Buffet style -- plenty of food. Japanese food like rice, vegetables, and fried food; and Western style food like toast and jam. Coffee, tea, juice -- the usual. Location: Centrally located for my purposes. It's 15-20 minutes from Tajimi Station, 15 minutes from Eihō-ji (where the wedding took place), and it was a five minute walk from the karaoke place we ended up after the wedding. Staff: Quick check in, spoke some English, very kind. They helped me call taxis, which would arrive quickly. Overall, good experience. I'd stay here again.

This hotel has large rooms (quite larger than the average room that I have found when travelling in Japan), which is very convenient if your stay is going to be more than a few days long. , It is not very close to the train/bus station, but it is only a 10 minutes walk, not too much. There are a few places where you can have dinner (sushi/italian/noodles/mcdonalds...) close to the hotel, a convenience store and a supermarket. The people at the reception do not speak much English, but they do their best to help you anyway. , There is LAN connection in the room is a bit slow. The TV has no non-japanese channels.

The receptionist who greeted us wasn't friendly and she didn't really say much. The room was damp with crying windows. Aircon was quite noisy. The accommodation came with free breakfast. However, when we turned up for breakfast, almost everything was gone and didn't look like they will be topped up. We managed to have pieces of white toast. I have stayed other business hotels with better breakfast and better facility and yet cheaper than this place. I would not use it again.
