The Stronlossit Inn offers warm Highland hospitality in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with The Ben Nevis mountain range and Loch Ness nearby.
I read the previous reviews before booking, and only booked because there weren't any other options. I stayed for 4 nights and I have to say that my experience didn't reflect the negative reviews I'd read. I found the staff (including the management) to be friendly, courteous and helpful. The food and beer was good (possibly a little over-priced?). The rooms were OK (again maybe a little over-priced?). Not an exceptional place but I would be happy to (and probably will) go back again. I wouldn't let the poor reviews put you off.

Homagen is a family-run bed & breakfast ideally situated in the heart of the Highlands, in a rural countryside village of Roy Bridge.
We had a lovely three week stay with you last month whilst visiting our family in Roy Bridge. Many thanks for making us feel so welcome. Our room was lovely and clean and we're still missing your breakfasts! Looking forward to staying with you again soon. Again many thanks.

Small Former Hunting Lodge, set in peaceful surroundings , Home-made food, individually designed bedrooms, home from home.
Glenspean Lodge is probably the best hotel I have ever stayed in. Think of a stay with good friends in their home rather than being a guest in a hotel. It begins with a warm welcome from the owners, Ian and Suzanne, and it just gets better from there on. The rooms are cozy and individually decorated and many have fine views. Everything works from the powerful shower to the large comfortable beds The dining room enjoys magnificent views of Ben Nevis and t,his together with the wonderful food, make for a superb dining experience. I would have no hesitation in recommending Glenspean Lodge and hope to return myself sometime in the fut

We visited the little houses for 5 nights and found it to be a lovely and peaceful place. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The surrounding areas are just beautiful. The cottage was clean and cosy. Highly recommend the little houses for a trip to the highlands!

This accommodation was superb. The hosts couldn’t do enough to make sure our stay was comfortable. They provided a packed lunch rather than breakfast on our 1st day so we could get an early start, the lunch itself was more than enough to keep us fuelled and was delicious. The rooms are well appointed and beds incredibly comfortable. Breakfast on our 2nd morning was plentiful and delicious. The hosts were so lovely, we wouldn’t hesitate to return or recommend this b&b to anyone travelling to this area. Thank you for making our stay such a great one ☺️

Chose this as it was close to a place we were staying for dinner. It is certainly more of a bar than a restaurant. We had two separate starters of soup and mushrooms. It was basic and filling and edible. For the mains we both ordered steak - rare; which unfortunately came out more medium than rare. The sauce DOES NOT come on the side. Our steaks were smothered. The chips soaked this up well but it was a little too much. For a quick, local meal this place was sufficient.

We found the place by accident, but what a find. Our room was spacious, spotless clean with some absolutely beautiful touches, the bath mat was so luxurious soft. The room was so quiet it’s the best nights sleep we have ever had away from home. The breakfast was excellent it made a nice change not to have a cooked breakfast. Our only negative was we only stayed 1 night, wished we had stayed longer.
