Reviewed By Mags SWe stayed for 2 nights to attend a wedding in the village. Our rooms were very comfortable and the breakfast delicious. From the moment we arrived Rita could not have been more welcoming, friendly and helpful to us and our 2 boys. She has even been kind enough to post back a forgotten teddy bear! A beautiful house in a gorgeous village.

Unmet expectations; a huge disappointment
Reviewed By simmonsparisThe photos and reviews of this place do NOT match, in any way, the owner's posted photos or reviewers comments. while the pictures show accurate room sizes, shapes, colors, the actual room, 15 rue de Venoise, was shabby, poorly kept and with worn out furnishings and kitchen items....nothing as lovely as the photos. The terrace and outdoor areas a mess and in disarray. On entry, one passes an upside down wooden crate serving as an end table, the type obtained free at a grocery store, painted white. This small example is similar to the other furnishings inside and out. Arriving on a chilly day, it was difficult to imagine how wall heater and portable bedroom heater would warm the place, even IF a fire could be started in the fireplace. 2 emails were sent to the owners asking about the BBQ and use of the fireplace, with NO reply to either. On arrival, after calling them as requested on the booking, we were told we arrived far too early, even though our arrival time had been clearly indicated on the reservation. We simply cut our stay short and left. After emailing our concerns and departure to the owners, a message was sent that our credit card had been rejected, only to note a very short time later, the room had indeed been charged. As senior travelers, and very frequent travelers, this is a "first". This same review was submitted too booking.com.

The 30 people gite called "le domaine de venoise" is named after the 13th century medieval tower the upper part of which emerges on the photo.After the manner of the old Paris foundations found at the foot of "le Louvres", we have chosen to interate in the living parts and sometimes in the rooms, the rough high defensive walls of the hidden tower.One moves between the different levels by crossing the tower.
Great charm
Reviewed By ChiaraMorrisThis B&B reflects the charm of this amazing village. You walk in through a little courtyard and the lobby room is warmed by a huge fireplace. At the back a few tables for breakfast colourfully laid. Our room was spacious, clean, quaint, huge and comfortable bed and peaceful views over the walls through the countryside. Old style bathroom with big shower, plenty of hot water and towels. Nice breakfast, owners have as much style as kindness, and they know how to make guest happy also with a personalised touch which is always nice. Highly recommended.

Pour 9 personnes maximum, 2 maisons qui se touchent, 2 grandes chambres avec chacune sa salle d'eau privative, et une pièce de vie/cuisine au rez de chaussée, le tout décoré d'une façon raffinée et confortable, en face un duplex avec une cour/jardin privative pour 4 personnes. Repas sur réservation, et petit déjeuner généreux et convivial.

Authentic experience
Reviewed By 347andriykThis guest house is located in 16th century monastery building. I must say it is an authentic experience you won't get in regular hotels because usually tourists are having guided tours in places like that rather than staying there. We stayed for one night and I would recommend it for a short stay in Noyers. Room was big and clean, breakfast was really good, old town with attractions and restaurants is close. My daughter pointed out that such a places have ghosts but we haven't seen any :)
