Your 2tHEIMAT (2ndHOME) in Morbach in Hunsrück. Arriving and feeling at home, that is our aspiration! All rooms and bathrooms have been completely redone until April 2019. Also, our new restaurant offers creative delicacies at the highest level, prepared with great products from the Hunsrück. Ideal starting point for hikes on the Saar-Hunsrück-Steig, in the Hunsrück-Hochwald National Park or on the Traumschleifen. Bikers have the opportunity to prove their skills every Saturday and Sunday at the Trial Park at Erbeskopf! Even a short trip to the Moselle is no problem - to Bernkastel-Kues is only 20 km.

Reviewed By Mike INeat and tidy hotel in a small town for one night at the end of a 260 mile motorcycle ride - 1st day of 24 - Made welcome by the manager who spoke little English but was happy to provide parking for our Goldwing Motorcycles in their garage next to the owner's mercedes ! Access to the hotel was via a paved shared space access. Rooms were basic but clean as was the bathroom - strange very deep shower tray in our room, i think to use as a mini bath if you could get in the lotus position :) Evening meal at their adjoining 4-Witz restaurant was pleasant with helpful staff and great German Weis beer. Breakfast was also served in 4-Witz and had a large selection mainly catering for Continental Europe with limited hot offerings.

Reviewed By Guide368193Messages are NOT being given to hotel guests. January 9th I attempted to get ahold of a hotel guest that I knew was in the hotel restaurant. When I asked if they could attempt to get the individual in the restaurant/bar the lady who answered the phone said there was nobody there and would transfer me to the room. The transfer to the room went straight to hotel VM. When I called back to ask to try and locate the guest I was told that if they were not in the room that they were therefore not on the property. I then asked to leave a msg at the front desk, which they said they took down but in fact never delivered to the hotel guest. And to be quite clear the call was an emergency and the guest was in the restaurant area at the time that I called. They lied and did not want to walk a few paces from the front desk to the restaurant/bar area to give the msg. This hotel was more family friendly a few years ago... the owner Michael was more proactive with overall customer delivery... it has gone downhill!

Reviewed By Frederik85I stayed here for 1 night. The rooms are basic, but everything you need is there. The beds are very good. Good breakfast too. Only negative thing was that there was a bit of trash of the previous guests in the trash can on the room.

Gutes Haus im Aufbruch
Reviewed By taucherSDas Hotel ist zentral in dem Ort Morbach gelegen. Als wir dort waren wurde das Haus gerade renoviert, d.h. unser Zimmer und wohl aus das Stockwerk in dem wir waren waren renoviert und ebenso der Empfang, das Treppenhaus und der 1. Stock wohl nicht und im Frühstücksbereich ist dies aus meiner Sicht noch nicht ganz klar. Was renoviert war war schick, und modern. Die Betreiber war freundlich und zuvorkommend und die Bedienung beim Frühstück herzlich. Das Frühstück war für das Haus dieser Grösse ausgezeichnet. Also summa summarum kann ich dass Haus nur empfehlen und wenn es fertig sein sollte dann umso mehr. Allerdings nehme ich an, dass dann der Preis auch ein wenig steigen wird, das wäre aus meiner Sicht aber auch in Ordnung.
