Lovely building
Reviewed By Tabor FWe stayed here for 4 nights We were welcomed into the hotel and given a room key not shown to room not offered to carry cases even though I clearly had difficulty having just had an operation We only had breakfast at the hotel as there evening menu was very limited and not very appealing. The breakfast was very good all fresh in a nice bright room overlooking the garden. The garden needs a gardener the grass desperately needs cutting, the hedges needed trimming a long time ago, the borders need weeding the entrance from the road could also do with a lot of tidying and maybe lighting. The bar is this a hotel I don’t think so most days the bar doesn’t seem to open until 6 o’clock in the evening. Oh and on a Sunday they don’t open at all and no food either People arriving couldn’t even find anyone to check in ! There is a lovely terrace but you have such a long walk to get to it as the bar is not open why bother. The pool is lovely but really needs cleaning every day and needs some furniture around it . Also the broken stack of furniture removed from the garden would be a good start. The fence that should surround the pool only goes half way the gate doesn’t close and some of the fence is falling over. The rooms are nicely furnished but there are no electric sockets to charge anything! The flooring is all laminate and very noisy you can hear people walking up and down the corridors not good. I think they have taken there eye off the ball it’s more like a hostel than a hotel lovely building lovely position such a shame

Fantastic Two Night Stay!

There was absolutely no need as it was as good as we remembered. The food is exceptional and the hosts are superb and that’s what makes this place so special. Hopefully we won’t leave it so long to return and we will definitely be recommending to friends.

Reviewed By 318lyleaThe room was nicely laid out and clean. The bathroom door was hard to close without banging it. Wifi was pretty non existant. Overall it was fine with a nice welcome. Breakfast was good although the tea water was not as hot as it should be.

Amazing impromptu stay!
Reviewed By Jessica TWe ended up in this beautiful yachting village on a whim and got so lucky to secure the last available room at this property. The owner was so lovely and the room was perfect for our needs. Nothing fancy but perfectly spacious, clean (and they accepted our dog for a small surcharge), big windows, tv, a powerful stand up fan if needed and comfortable bed and decent bathroom. The location is amazing, free parking in front of the property and we walked down the hill for drinks/dinner on the waterfront. Also rented a little boat the next morning but not before a fabulous breakfast at the property! We “splurged” for the large breakfast which was great value. The cutlery was silver, napkins proper linen and the coffee pots beautiful antiques. The food was fresh and plentiful with the tastiest fresh squeezed orange juice and homemade preserves. Fruit in the salad was all fresh, homemade crepes were delicious and it was all thoughtfully presented. Highly recommend for good value.

Reviewed By welly42Lovely property, beautiful gardens, comfortable, spacious accommodation and very nice breakfast including fresh fruit from the garden . A short drive away from the pretty town of La Roche Bernard and its restaurants. Our host, Steve, went beyond the call of duty when we unfortunately had a problem with our car. Nothing was too much trouble and he made us feel totally welcome and at ease with his warm, friendly, upbeat nature. We will certainly return if in the area again and will recommend to friends and family.

Reviewed By Sébastien LNous avons choisi le domaine du fait de sa localisation et de sa description (chalets pas trop nombreux étang et campagne autour), nous n'avons pas été déçus, l'hébergement est de très bonne qualité, la situation idéale, le cadre est verdoyant et reposant, les enfants ont une aire de jeux bien sécurisée la piscine est superbe et l'accueil est agréable et aux petits soins pour sa clientèle. Quoi dire de plus en un mot super!
