Doubletree by Hilton Glasgow Westerwood Spa & Golf Resort is a hotel not to be missed. The contemporary hotel is ideally located minutes from the M80, only a short drive from Glasgow, in fact, it is just a mere 15 minutes in the car. The resort is home to 148 comfortable bedrooms which will guarantee you a great nights sleep. For more relaxation head to the leisure club where you can swim in the pool, relax in the Jacuzzi or for the more energetic, you can work out in their superb leisure club. If you prefer the fresh air, you'll be pleased to hear the hotel has an 18 hole Championship golf course. There are some simply stunning views over the Campsie Hills. It’s self-contained conference centre can hold up to 400 delegates for a conference and up to 300 for a glittering dinner dance.
I decided to book the hotel for me and my family of five as stop off point to stay at another hotel further north. The staff were nice enough but there was a lot of young and inexperienced staff this no doubt had to reflect Hilton’s staffing costs. This was a recurring theme for our stay. We decided to eat in the hotel for convenience rather than any preconception that it would be nothing other than a satisfactory experience and the service would be prompt and efficient. It was a busy night and there was coach party of elderly patrons who came in 20 minutes after we sat down. We waited 30 mins for our starter, 30 minutes for our mains and 30 minutes for the deserts for the children. We seemed to viewed as secondary as did other family groups dining there. The meal was ok but no more than that but the cost was overpriced. Charged £160 for a family of five. The room was clean and basic but not worth £300 for bed and breakfast for family of 5. The room was no better than Travelodge. Finally when settling up the bar bill with one of hotel managers I did query £12.00 for three glasses of draught cokes. These glasses were not even a half pint glass. I did ask the young member of bar staff at the time of purchase if this is correct which she informed me it was, unfair to unload my frustration on her. It is clear that this overpricing is clear policy of this establishment. £500 stay a night for family of five is unacceptable, I would advice any families especially with young children to stay away.

ibis budget Glasgow Cumbernauld is conveniently located just off the A80. Each of our 57 rooms has a refreshing shower, a desk to work at, WiFi in every room and tea & coffee making facilities, flatscreen freeview digital TV, and most importantly a comfortable bed.
1 night stay with a friend as part of her touring Scotland. Nothing really walking distance but good base if driving. Staff were great, friendly and helpful. Quick to fix any issues. Lots of free parking on site and just off the motorway. We had a decent sleep, much quieter than expected and comfortable beds. Hotel pretty worn and needs a refurb since being taken over from Travelodge. Dirty towels and loo but again, quickly fixed. Not the most powerful showers but all you need. Plus was tea and coffee in room

No fuss, clean rooms. Next to the pub for decent food & drinks, but not noisy. Conveniently situated close to the motorway, and free parking close nearby. My colleagues said their beds were not comfortable. I was too tall for the shower. Couldn't connect to the WiFi. No brekkie, but bakery cafe next door opened 9am.

Put yourself smack bang in the centre of Cumbernauld town centre at the Premier Inn Hotel Glasgow Cumbernauld. Just minutes from the M80, we're ideal for breaking up your journey from North to South. But, with Glasgow, Stirling and business HQs on your doorstep, you'll find plenty of reasons to stick around. Hit the greens at Dullatur or Palacerigg Golf Courses or hit the dance floor at a wedding at Castlecary. Splash out at the Tryst Sports Centre or dive into the action at Broadwood Stadium. Whatever you're up to, you'll return to our tasty Beefeater restaurant and lovely comfy bed.
I would like to give a shout out to Premier Inn & Beefeater staff in Cumbernauld. My employer put me up at the premises from September 2021 to February 2022 as I was on loan for work. A special acknowledgement to front off desk Susan, Roseann & Jamie for there professionalism, kindness & humour during my time at hotel. Jac, Lauren, Pamela, Steven, & Kirsti were a delight too. I enjoyed food & drink especially full Scottish every morning & a friendly blether with Beefeater staff.
