Asked for quite room specifically
Reviewed By HandeByrI called the hotel and explained that I haven't sleep for 4nights moved my father with ambulance from Izmir,don't have any energy to go to Istanbul&desperetly needing a quiet&silent room for a desent sleep,in detail. The room offered to me on the phone seemed reasonable,I checked if the room has a connection or if there are traffic noise etc. in case. I am now stucked in the middle of nowhere with 2 choices; either freezing or not sleeping with A/C noise in fully paid room. They are full and selling the out of order rooms obviously, without concerning guests needs. It is a shame for hospitality business.

Excellent hotel and the staff are wonderful
Reviewed By liz055Arrived in middle of the night to a very friendly greeting. I have stayed here for ten days and been very comfortable. The room was spacious, nicely decorated and everything in good order. Kettle boiled faster than any hotel kettle I've ever used. Great shower, plenty of towels and space for clothes and storage. Everything is immaculately clean and well, maintained. I was dreading being stuck in an hotel for ten days and actually I have felt very comfortable. There is heating and air conditioning but didn't need it. Room had a mini fridge which was handy because I couldn't eat out and had a very specific dirt (vegetarian and soft foods only for a week). Also fridge wasn't noisy! There is a gym, sauna and swimming pool but not open so early in the season. Lovely Turkish breakfast provided with good variety and everything very fresh. Bed extremely comfortable. Little balcony . Very peaceful at night and generally quiet. A word about the staff though. Everyone was lovely and concerned about my comfort. The hotel arranged a taxi to take me to Istanbul for a day and charged £80 which I think was very reasonable. Through no fault of the taxi driver's I went to the wrong pick up point and missed him. He had offered to accompany me for the day but I said I'd be fine and I would have been if my phone hadn't stopped working which left me without Google maps or able to phone the hotel to find out why driver wasn't there. To be clear he wasn't there because he was at the correct place which he and the hotel checked with me three times before setting off. I was somewhere completely different and neither the hotel nor the poor worried driver were to blame for my space cadet moment.So I got a taxi back to Cerzekoy to find a number of missed calls and texts. The hotel and driver were very worried about me and the driver was still at the pick up point when I got back to the hotel 3 hours later. Phone by then was working again very annoying. But the point is the hotel genuinely cares about people and in UK not sure anyone would have even noticed. So in summary I wholeheartedly recommend City Horel for excellent accommodation, excellent professionalism and genuine care and kindness. WiFi was excellent speed and lots of cafes and restaurants next to the hotel.

Reviewed By 640nazpI forgot my branded red t-shirt on the hanger in the room 221 where I stayed on 18/5/2022. When I called the next day, they said I didn't have my t-shirt. Here is such a hotel. I definitely do not recommend. 18/5/2022 de konakladığım 221 nolu oda da markalı kırmızı tshirt ''ümü dolapta askıda unuttum. Ertesi gün aradığımda tshirt 'ümün olmadığını söylediler. İşte böyle bir otel. Tavsiye etmiyorum kesinlikle.

Amazing stay
Reviewed By Katiegreer1998Stayed here for 4 days , Me and My friend travelled from the uk and the staff was ever so present. They catered to all of our needs and even though we didn't speak Turkish they found ways to communicate with us. Room spotless (shower was a bit dirty but OK) Had lots of coffee and tea available. Wifi free of charge bonus!! Breakfast (can't really make a comment ) we didn't really try much as we didn't know what things was but they're was a good variety Staff!!! Very lovely male manager spoke a little English and he was very helpful ordering us food and speaking to us etc he helped loads ? Thanks again for such an amazing stay ! Hopefully I can come back again soon x

Reviewed By Andymason1Stayed for 3 nights during a business trip in January 2019. This hotel is marginally better than others in the town of Çerkezköy, but honestly is more than basic. My room was an executive suite, a large room with 2 seating areas and huge window with drapes floor to ceiling. Problem was that they were very dirty and permanently closed, as the view was directly in to the garage next door. There is a shortage of working lights along with some very shabby damaged wall paper. There was a huge 2 person bath (also in the living area)?? That was unusable because water was broken - so only looks good. The bathroom was dirty, toilet leaked, and then stopped flushing and the hand basin water does not work. There is A/C that is supposed to be controlled from the reception desk, my room was 30C in January. The best they could advise was open the windows.. Breakfast is included, but the quality is more than terrible. Coffee is cheap, buffet is wrapped and clearly prepared the previous day, and on my 2nd day all of the boiled eggs had been cooked in a microwave oven. (Yolk was solid/ White was runny) really poor!! Advice - keep driving and stay somewhere else!!
