Reviewed By FinncanuckWe had a small cabin for one night before leaving the country. An easy drive to the Liberia airport on the divided highway. The cabin was old but comfortable and only offered the basics, which is all that we needed. The breakfast was ample and tasty. The best part about this place is the tropical grounds with enormous trees and plenty of wildlife including deer, agoutis, howler monkeys and many types of birds. We enjoyed our stay and wished we could have stayed longer.

Stopped for Restaurant Only
Reviewed By GadaboutNHI stopped for a bite to eat off of the wonderful Pan American Highway. This restaurant is easily found on the South Canas off-ramp and has a welcoming atmosphere. The locals from the City and Police Station next door all eat here for lunch because the prices are great and the food is delicious. The portions were huge so no one went away hungry. The owner was fluent in English and made sure service and quality of food was tops. A welcome stop along our way to the Lake Arenal region.

Reviewed By TheProdigitalSonClean modern rooms. Very nice mattresses. Secure parking. (I didn't try the restaurant). Friendly staff. Convenient location. TV and aircon. Strong free wifi. The only negative was that there was no hot water in the shower. I paid a lot less that the price advertised on TA. I had room 7 which was ground floor at the back of the property - no street noise.
