Palazzino Birgu is a hidden gem and Chiara is absolutely amazing ! I was there for work alone and they made me feel home with a touch of luxury. I had a very spacious room, with chocolates left on my pillow every day (thank you Phoebe). Breakfast was great, and the common area with the honesty bar felt can be used to rest or work (they have good wifi). Locations is super easy, both for visiting Birgu but also to visit Valletta (1 $ ferry away). If you are looking for a special place, I strongly recommend them.

Siamo stati a Casa Cara a Dicembre 2021, pulizia impeccabile, bella struttura, pulita. Maria é una persona deliziosa, risponde a qualsiasi richiesta! Parcheggio per la macchina a 200 metri da casa. Consiglio di noleggiare un mezzo per essere più liberi.

We opted for a boutique this trip as visiting family. The hotel is small, only 5 rooms, and in a lovely town across the harbour from Valletta. Bed was superb with the softest pillows. Tea and coffe in the room and en-suite bathroom. Minimal storage but that wasn’t a problem. It’s close to the harbour where you can get a water taxi across to Valletta at a cost of 2€ per person each way. Really is worth staying at this lovely place, run by the nicest people.

Great lunch in a stylish building. Great staff and food in huge portions. Everything cooked to order and didn’t have to wait long for it to be served. We will go back! Handy for the ferry landing from Valletta.

Having visited many dozens of countries and having stayed in hundreds of hotels and villas, this was one of the most amazing places to stay I have ever experienced. Seagull2 has been restored and maintained to a level most of us will never experience. Simply beautiful. Her cabins are plush, beautiful, and most importantly, comfortable. The boat is located in an amazing harbor in Vittoriosa (Birgu). The neighborhood is fun and friendly. Quiet at night but with plenty of places within five minutes to enjoy food and wine. Yachts of every description that are jaw dropping. But also many locals, in fact almost all locals. What will always stand out in our minds are Vojo and Bev who are your hosts. We were the only people on the boat during our five nights. They are two of the nicest and most interesting people we have ever met while traveling. Bev doesn’t just make breakfast. She makes a feast, and she is a wonderful and kind soul with a great sense of humor. Spending time with her was a treat. Vojo is the captain. He is constantly working, fixing, and cleaning. I’ve spent a fair amount of time on boats from dinghies to yachts to racing sailboats. But never a boat like this. This boat is meticulously clean and maintained. It is a labor of love for Vojo. More than that, he is a fine and interesting person. I feel very lucky to have met him. When we left, the first night away from Seagull2 left us a bit homesick for these two wonderful people. This is not like anything you can describe to the folks back home when you return. It is in a class by itself.

If you have bad knees just to let you know that to get to the roof terrace you have to climb a very tight spiral staircase, we made use of the bbq and plunge pool, there is some damaged rattan furniture which needs to be removed and possibly replaced with a couple of loungers. our room number 2 was clean, small with a fridge which i had to anti bacterial wipe clean as when turned off the the door was left closed. so it smelt musty, no mattress proctecter on the bed or pillows, we had to request new pillows and bedding as they smelt like they had not been washed. this was dealt with straight away, we got 2 new pillows to replace the 4 taken away, but the replacement bedding was full of bobbles, the bathroom was small we found it easier to dry off in the main room, the shower frame blocked the bathroom window from opening. we did not use the communal kitchen, as there are plenty of nice little cafes to eat at. the staff were helpful so was the owner. we stayed for a week, the apt was clean, compact we had to was our own towels although there were replacements on top of the wardrobe.
