Villa Marina was exceptional thanks to our host, Marco! The villa itself is beautiful and the setting was lovely and peaceful. It's a small luxury villa so it was exactly what we were looking for. My sister and I stayed for four nights and it turned out much better than we could have hoped for thanks to the service and warmth of our host. Breakfast was included (pastries, quiche, boiled eggs, fruit, cereal, deli meats, cheese) and we got great views of the lake to sit and enjoy breakfast. Marco was always extremely helpful from the time we checked in, from driving us into town (to get items dry cleaned and to an electronics store for a phone charger) to giving us great recommendations on what we should do and see. Tanya was also very accommodating, she helped prepare us for our boat tour and day trip. We also got lucky to enjoy the new hot tub which was installed recently. We can't wait to visit again and highly recommend! 5 stars

The view was great! The accommodations not so much. We picked this B&B because of the ratings in Tripadvisor but they were misleading. The rooms are bright colors like orange and green with sparkles in the paint (60's hippie maybe??) and harsh florescent lights. Our room, with a great view, had an odd, unidentifiable odor. I thought we could "air it out" but to no avail. The breakfast was at the low end of our experience, some items were stale, some were packaged like twinkies. The Wi-Fi was spotty at best. The man of the house seemed to be in charge of the B&B and his wife showed little or no interest, in fact, seemed put out with the guests. Not recommended, certainly there must be better options in such a beautiful community.

This small hotel is very close to the railway station in the center of Bellano. Very friendly and helpful staff (family). Rooms are small but clean and nice. No elevator. A place for those who are looking for a friendly atmosphere more than luxury.

We visited this B&B for the first time when I was 5 months pregnant with our son and the house owner had a one-month old babyboy. This was 10 years ago. The memory of that lovely stay with the more than welcoming and warm Claudia, was so dear to us, that when we found ourselves going to Italy for our summer holidays once again, we were in no doubt. So we started our holiday of with a mere 4 days at La Respuchina, this time with our son in tow. Full of anticipation we arrived only to find Claudia's welcoming hug waiting for us. Her son, and our boy both were perhaps the only aspects that changed, the B&B remains lovely as ever. With gorgeous views over the amazing Lake Como, well appointed and lovely decorated bedrooms and the amazing breakfast which is served at your room daily by Claudia, this hidden treasure is well worth the visit should you be lucky enough to be in the neighbourhood. The nearest restaurants are a small trip by car away, app. 7 minutes, but well worth the ride for you will find yourself at the lovely lakeside in Bellano. The four days flew past and it was with pain we had to say goodbye once more. But yes I am sure, we will most definitely be back to create even more wonderful memories of this small piece of heaven on earth. Thank you dear famiglia!
