We were stunned with the amazing style of the hotel. The pictures you see online do not do them justice, its just so much nicer in real life. We did not want to leave. Spa experience is unique and amazing, restaurant had great dinner and bar was a perfect spot for stylish after dinner cocktail. We loved their LP collection, could easily stayed all night long putting our beloved songs on.

Unique and romantic bed and breakfast in bagno vignoni. The only bed and breakfast with charm in the village with a particular breakfast with local products and a private garden with a big persimmon tree.
A lovely B&B which we had booked a 4 poster room. We arrived and got a standard room. We let them room and we got moved to a family room/suite but as it was our honeymoon we hoped for the 4 poster. However the staff were very helpful with stuff we had left in the first room! Best thing - breakfast! OMG - awesome. Homemade ricotta was fabulous. Worth it for the breakfast but need to sort out the bedrooms too.

This B&B is the same high standard as the hotel Albergo La Terme that owns it next door, yet a much more reasonable rate..we stayed in a gorgeous double room with separate entrance sitting room and bathroom overlooking the town square..delightful. The linen on the bed was superbly white, fresh and crisp. So divine to return to after we enjoyed Friday night spa time at the hotel (an extra €30 each if not hotel guests) but so worth it, came with a spa pack of robe and thongs, lovely to relax in the natural mineral spas downstairs...in summertime you would need to book as busy...we enjoyed al fresco dining by the ancient baths and our room at the B&B included a fantastic hot breakfast at the hotel-much appreciated for travellers. This stay was way better than we expected...thankyou...high class...beautiful way to finish 5 days exploring Tuscany.

Locanda TOP!

The Hotel Le Terme is located in the palace designed by Rossellino in 1400 which was Pope Pio II Piccolomini’s summer residence. The Hotel overlooks the famous thermal water basin that features a unique square where for 2000 years the hot thermal water has gushed at a temperature of 49° from a depth of 1000 metres. The building has been recently renewed and it offers all the comforts to ensure travellers a memorable Tuscan experience.
Being frequent guests over the years, it was great to return after the pandemic. The perception has always been very good, but now it was even better. Beautiful rooms, fully equipped, nice and friendly staff, always willing to provide solution on requests, that makes a big difference in such attitude. We also found that the restaurant had improved and drew conclusions that next time we will stay indoors with both lunch and dinner. This is a perfect location for exploring beautiful Val d´Orcia and its surroundings by car, foot or bike. Next time we will combine our stay with some hiking between Bagno and Montalcino!

This lovely small hotel has simple (not overly decorated), clean rooms, which is all we need for the basics. What makes it extraordinary is the restaurant--amazing food--and especially the staff. Silvano could not be more helpful. He is always willing to suggest a parking area in whichever hilltop town we want to visit on any day, and he was willing to call and make sure that the restaurants he recommended for lunch were open in April 2022 as establishments were rebounding from winter and/or covid closure. Antonio is the perfect head waiter. My sense is that he reads people extremely well and responds to different guests in the way that is most comfortable for them. He is always professional, but if he senses, as he did with us, that we're open to being more familiar and friendly, he responds with wonderful humor. And other staff, with whom we had less contact, were also very helpful. We never want to leave after a few days, and we come back each time we're in Italy.
