There are several walks up and down through the forest here, but the walk along the gorge is the highlight! Really great. Recommend using the Argyll Forest Park Map and Trail guide which is free to access online on the Scottish forestry and land website. This also shows where to park and facilities.

The only 5 star centre in Scotland for Quad Biking, Clay Pigeon Shooting and Archery, as rated by Visit Scotland.
An incredible experience from start to finish with breathtaking views over the surrounding hills, islands and lochs. Really fun but also very safe, our instructor David was top class in his role. Would definitely do this activity again and recommend to others. Thanks again from Dale and Louise.

In a magnificent mountainside setting on the Cowal Peninsula in Argyll lies Benmore, an enchanting Garden steeped in history and surrounded by dramatic scenery.
I'd wanted to visit these gardens since seeing them on Gardeners World and they were even better than I'd hoped. Beautiful trees, quiet space, lovely walks, red squirrels, interesting features around the gardens including a restored Victorian fernery on a hillside. Not to be missed.

Dunoon's very own local independent two screen cinema, with a dedicated small team. Our mission is to provide the best cinema experience to the local community. We show all of the major Hollywood films and cater for all ages and tastes. Showing all the latest movies on your doorstep.
Just home after a viewing of the stage version of The King and I, and what a lovely afternoon. Very safe environment, lots of social distancing measures, staff lovely and accommodating. Would not hesitate to return and would encourage everyone to go along. So nice to be out for some fun and relaxation during these times. Well done to Studio Cinema and thank you from a local.

The community purchased, from The Forestry Commission, Scotland in 2012 this Victorian Walled Garden through Ardentinny Community Trust, which is a registered charity. It is a 2B listed site. The Walled Garden, which was originally the kitchen garden for Glenfinart Estate, has now been divided into 5 areas: • an orchard with native apple, pear and plum trees. • a grassed public area, with small band stand, for events • a soft fruit and vegetable growing area with raised beds and polytunnel • a sensory, reflective garden • a children’s garden with willow dome and tunnel, bird hide, bug hotel, strawberry beds and fairy ring. On a sunny day the orchard or sensory garden is a beautiful, tranquil spot for a picnic and there are public toilets by the beach. Dogs are welcome on a lead.
