vegan and organic Restaurant
We went after reading the outstanding reviews we read about it. We took a"bowl" (14 euros I think and small) and a vegetarian burger and two glasses of flavoured lemon verbena water ( 2 euros each). The water had been infused with lemon rind for way too long and therefore got a very bitter taste. The vegetarian burger's chickpea pattie was om, but not wow. The "bow" had almost tbe same ingredients as the burger and wad so but so ordinary. Bowls are very trendy right now in the vegan world and you can get very good combinations in several restaurants. The one we got here was a combination if fridge leftovers, no theme, not link between the ingredients. It unfortunately seemed to us that this nice couple had very good intentions with the opening of this place, but did not have enough culinary experience to open a restaurant. We have home cooks, go often to all sorts of restaurants and clearly got the impression that the menu was some sort of an improvisation. People seem to be in awe with the place maybe because it offers something else something fresher than what is offered in France actually. The initiave is worth 5 stars, but the food 2 only. Maybe in a couple years it will be worthwhile, but now it tastes as improvised. Iced tea was commercial canned and the exhaustive detailed tea list on two pages in the menu was in fact a description of commercial tea bags from Yogi brand. Bonjour, Merci d'avoir donné votre avis.

I knew the owner when she handled a stunning unique sushi bar. Here again, she manages to combine in her recipies traditions and saveurs or preparations from her many travels. The produces are excellent, very very fresh. You are warmly welcomed and the service while discrete is impeccable.

The bohemian garden proposes to you every day a slate made from fresh and local products. The slogan of the restaurant "Good mood and good food" perfectly represents the state of mind of our establishment.
We were lucky to get a table due to early arrival. Great ambience in a pretty courtyard. Service knowledgable without being intrusive. Food and wine unbelievable. Cuttlefish starter was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Pave de boeuf main courses faultless and the turnips with them a simple masterpiece. Dessert of ice cream with lemon juice and vodka worked well. Another great evening in Nimes.

âââDans un cadre cosy et intimiste, le Nocturne vous propose une cuisine traditionnelle et raffinée. âStéphane Grosset vous fait redécouvrir les spécialités du Sud Ouest.
Wonderful specialities from the south west of France. We had an excellent dinner here last night: started with slivers of foie gras, the duck confit and a delicious cold souffle. Extensive (and expensive) wine list. We had a very nice Chateau Ollieux Romanis Corbieres Bouterac. Excellent, efficient and friendly service. Some in our group tried the cepes risotto and it was delicious as well.

Every day a unique menu (an appetizer, a main course, a dessert) is proposed according to the harvest of the local farmers, some of which is vegan and others that could possibly be made vegan upon request.
Tried out this small Restaurant and was very pleased with the meal.We turned up without a reservation and the owner made space for us without any fuss. The Menu consists of 3 courses of the day so no puzzling over what to choose!Friendly atmosphere of mixed nationalities. Multilingual owner was attentive and efficient.1st course of grilled goats cheese and onion on sourdough bread with mixed salad. 2nd course of wok fried noodles with mixed vegetables and final course of Kiwi and soya panacotta.15 Euros fixed price for the 3 courses. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and content of the food and we will be going again later in the week.

We stopped there for a food break. We liked the red bagel, the salad (which was almost to big) and the decoration. The gazpacho could have been more tasty but still good.We were outside on the very small table but quite convenient.
