I was so happy when I heard about China Eatery as it is so hard finding vegan options locally. It wasn't too difficult to find walking and using Google maps.When I got there I ordered a breakfast and I'd also taken a box so that I could take away lunch. The food was amazing!!! I had chia pudding for breakfast and tofu tenders with curry and rice to take out. Both were super tasty, great price and arrived quickly.This place is big on sustainability and even has a stall selling sustainable goods, such as reusable straw sets, biodegrable bamboo toothbrushes and shampoo bars.I can't wait to visit again!!!

When I heard that Red House Taiwan Sha-bu Sha-bu is opening and having a branch here in Dumaguete, I said to myself that I will not be missing it. So after a week when they opened, I went and tried their foods This restaurant is actually good.The shabu-shabu we had was delicious.Their staffs were so accommodating.They do have wifi of course.The place is air-conditioned. You can also make your own sauce.But don't expect it to be cheap.If only they do serve a pitcher of iced tea or anything for drinks. The place is really not that spacious.Thank you so much for the review and suggestion sir. We appreciate it a lot. :) we love how you took the photos too. We have free hot tea or iced tea sir you can tell our crew on your next visit :). Team Redhouse is working on for the extension of the second floor hopefully done before the year ends. Great little place with quite a few vegetarian options. I went with the squash soup, monggo guisado and tumeric tea. All are really good but the monggo guisado is just an explosion of flavour, every bite was delicious. And very healthy too.We walked over here from the port area which is about a 15 minute walk. Wouldâve walked much further for this!

My expectations were high since this is listed on top of the âmust triesâ restaurants when in Dumaguete.Pros (+)- Service was great. Food attendants were smiling, polite & service-oriented.- Place is located near Silliman University, walking-distance from the boulevard. Everyone knows the place.- Chicken Pasta Penne wasnât too great but thatâs the only food that stood out for me - Average pricingCons (-) - Gutted over the food. At least the ones that we ordered werenât good IMO. - KRI Ramen was a let down. Tasted average to become a bestseller (soup)- Truffle Bleu cheese burger with bacon, their bestseller (burgers) was pretty average for my palate. The banana chips side dish couldnât save it either. Fries or potato wedges would have complemented it better.Verdict: Iâd order something else if I decide to go back.
