Reviews on Healthy food in Anjuna, Bardez, Goa. Anjuna is among the most famous beaches in India. Popularly known for its Hippie culture, most people's reasons for coming to Anjuna are the same as they were in the 1970s. On Wednesdays, the famous flea market of Anjuna, a major shopping hangout beside the beach, opens for business. Bathing is generally safer at Anjuna than at most of the other beaches. Taking long walks and watching sunsets are among the favorite pastimes of visitors at Anjuna. Anjuna has emerged as a destination for rave parties and that take place over here from time to time, especially around the Christmas-New Year full moon period.

We went here for breakfast and firstly we were shocked by the prices as india is full of amazing food at reasonable prices. We went for it anyway thinking it must be fantastic. It wasn't. I ordered a superfood breakfast bowl, but what turned up was actually a tiny glass the size of a small yoghurt. This was meant to be packed full of goodness but the berries was actually 4 frozen raspberries, and one strawberry cut into 4, and the banana was 4 pieces (surely a whole banana isn't that expensive to include!) Nuts and raisins were also missing. Although what I received was very tasty I felt robbed. This arrived 15 minutes before my partners breakfast so I was completely finished before his even arrived. The organic fry up was very tasty and good quality but it should have been for the price. We were then surprised to be told there wasn't a bill service but to walk into the shop to pay at the counter, where we were charged another 10% tax and service charge! Not expected from a place that can't even serve two breakfasts at the same time.

Bean Me Up, is a popular restaurant is Goa, serving wholesome, organic and lip smacking vegan meals. We have an extensive variety in the cuisine we offer and are most popular for our salads, fresh juices and entree.
Having a fully vegan menu is an absolute pleasure that you rarely get in India so we had to come back twice. All the food we ordered was delicious and so were the juices/smoothies. Second time around we had a bit of a wait for a pizza meaning my boyfriend had finished his meal before mine arrived but the taste made up for it.

Michele's Garden Café is a quaint french Café located in Anjuna near the beach and the flea market. Michèle, being french, has brought with her a lot of family recipes when she moved and settled in Goa. Come and enjoy great salads and authentic crepes, an
I usually don't fancy pate at all. But this> Pate champagne with banana bread, onion marmalade and gherkins is as delicious as it sounds. I would've loved to pack up a jar of that yummy onion marmalade! My favourite, amongst others, was the Douala - Prawn, avocado, papaya & sweet potato salad. Fresh & French ;) Took a walk around the property as well. Would love to stay in the pretty tree house sometime! Thank You for - being an excellent host, the great service, and pretty garden.

In the sunny beach state of Goa there is a special place called Artjuna Garden Cafe and Lifestyle Shop. Established in an old portuguese house surrounded by a beautiful garden, this location has developed into a popular and trendy place.... With a large o
The place is simple yet rustic and some of the dishes in the english breakfast menu are must try. The seating is open with temporary covered roof, which was leaking at few spots upon my visit as it was rainy season. The taste of the dishes is really authentic and portion size is adequate. The breakfast is not heavy either on stomach or on pocket. The menu ranges from Egg, Pork, Fish, Sausages and vegetarian. They even have a small shop for some souvenir shopping. Many thanks for the nice review. We do not serve any non-vegetarian dishes and are primarily vegetarian apart from serving eggs and tuna. Hope to see you back soon.
