The Shell Shack & Grill menu was created to reflect the Mediterranean spirit and cuisine of the Maltese islands. Thatâs why we always use fresh, local seafood to give our guests the best food experience possible. The same applies to our Grill section, too

If you are looking for a restuarant that offers: Quality fresh and tasty food; Value for money & Welcoming staff, Tal-Kaptan Restuarant is the place for you!
We recently dined here for the first time after using the other Tal-Kaptan restaurant in Valletta a year ago (which we now understand has closed), whilst the Valletta branch was good, this is far better. On our first visit I had the 'grouper' which was brilliantly cooked, as were the roasted vegetables. On our second visit we had the set 'Sea Bream' meal which again was excellent and cooked to perfection. The staff are all very friendly and helpful, and the manageress Anja Stanic is always smiling and makes sure everything runs like clockwork.I highly recommend you give this restaurant a try if you are in the area, as I'm confident you will not be disappointed either. We are already looking forward to returning again next year when we will be back in Malta again.

The Luzzu restaurant is a casual diner offering a modern Mediterranean cuisine menu including an endless selection of pizza, pasta, salads and grill dishes as well as fish and Maltese options. To complement the cuisine are spectacular views of the open-se
I visited with friends whilst on holiday and our visit was memorable for the wrong reasons. I ordered the Fillet 'o' fish burger, served with fries and coleslaw, described as a fillet of fish served in a bun. When I removed the top of the bun I saw a small and very round burger shape. The texture and tastelessness rendered it inedible. There was absolutely no evidence of fish (either flavour or texture) in the 'fish' burger, just coloured potato with an odd taste. The waiter was apologetic and offered me a substitute meal but did not provide me a menu so I hurriedly chose the risotto that friends were eating. I had to watch my friends eat their meals whilst I waited for mine and they were less than enthusiastic about their risotto. Once we had eventually finished our main courses not a single waiter offered us a desert menu or coffees, despite a number of them standing around. I spoke to the Maître d' who advised me that he had been to the kitchen and spoken to Chef. He did not advise of the outcome of their conversation. Neither did he apologise in any way or offer a reduction to the bill or coffees etc to compensate. He swiped my credit card, completed the transaction then handed me a now blank screen for me to tap in my pin number. When I declined to do so he was obviously irritated and cancelled and repeated so that I could see the amount.Poor attitude, poor service, poor food, plastic tables and chairs on the terrace. I do NOT recommend in any way.

Q-Zins restaurant offers an All-inclusive BBQ Grill at the top floor of the db San Antonio Hotel + Spa. The buffet BBQ Grill is served directly from our Chefs' live cooking stations. Restaurant Opens from mid-June till mid-September, weather permitting.
We visited this restaurant as part as a stay at db San Antonio Hotel & Spa as an all inclusive guest. The hotel had one main restaurant, Guéliz, as well as 5 speciality restaurants that could be booked using electronic booking terminals either in reception or outside Guéliz. Restaurant staff move between restaurants, we visited them all and also Guéliz at each of the different sittings so here are the general comments. Like the rest of the hotel, cleanliness and hygiene are very apparent. Food is fresh, monitored and plentiful. Selections are wide in each restaurant and we saw nothing to even raise an eyebrow. Staff are again international and super friendly, they are diligent and quick to remove finished plates yet you do not feel rushed or hurried. Most speak good English but all are friendly, it was a pleasure to dine and meet them. Kevin and Helena (Head Waiter & Waitress) are excellent, they run a tight ship and obviously demand staff to meet their standards. Iâve watched both work in Taza & Guéliz (Kevin) and dBistro & Guéliz (Helena) and how they manage staff and deal with issues. They are professional and obviously motivate staff who in turn give customers great service. Q-Zins RestaurantAgain based on the 10th floor this buffet style restaurant offers Maltese dishes. I wasnât blown away although I did have a nice Rabbit dish, I think they are trying to please an international palette rather than giving us a full on Maltese experience. Again, very good though.Dear Guest,Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are glad to hear that your dining experience at our restaurant was up to your expectations.Your positive comments are deeply appreciated and will be shared with our team.We look forward to hosting you again in the near future.RegardsAdrian Valletta GiordanoAssistant General Manager

La Buona Trattoria del Nonno represents the culinary experiences and sentiments of the owner, Ben Muscat Snr. Having set up several successful restaurants in the past, several which have become household names, he decided to come out of retirement in 2012
We had the ribs and swordfish- both were great but the ribs were certainly amazing. What stood out the most, however, was the welcoming atmosphere and impeccable service by Milan and the rest of the staff, who also gave my mum a sweet surprise at the end, to celebrate her birthday. Would happily stop by again.

This restaurant is one of THE BEST restaurants I have ever been to in my LIFE! - The Price is so fair and portion sizes are extremely satisfying. We ordered seafood risotto and pasta and both had so much seafood for our very pleasant surprise. - We tried the woodfire pizza the next evening and were once again very impressed with how amazing it was.- Staff are very friendly and always available. The guy at the front was very very nice and so welcoming. We did wait a little bit for the food but was 100% worth it. - a lovely outside area is available so we got to enjoy the atmosphere of bugibba square aswell as a clown show that went on for a few minutes on the road while we waited for our food.- lovely strong cocktails and clean bathrooms.

Carvv is our interpretation of the American Steakhouse, combining bistro ambiance with steakhouse fare. Quality, comfort and good value are the three main key ingredients that make Carvv an experience like no other.
Had a lovely meal here on the last night of our holiday. Beautifully cooked fillet steak with mini roast potatoes and veg. Very good value for money as the price includes a salad starter as well as soup with bread and croutons. Good selection of reasonably priced bottles of wine.
