My family and I have used this restaurant many times over the last few years. Concerns when it changed hands at the beginning of the year were soon put to bed as the place actually improved.jan and his team are excellent and make everyone feel welcome and special. The food is superb. between us we have sampled just about everything on the menu. If you have a good appetite go for the Beyti or the steak. At the lighter end the Sea bass fillets or the fish of the day are superb. The range of hot and cold mezzes provide something for everyone's tastes and the sharing platters are very tasty and excellent value. There is no downside to this eatery which is why we frequently return.I have to give a special mention to Becks and Alda who keep the place running like clockwork and the kitchen staff for providing good quality meals time after time.

Got to be the worst Sunday roast I have ever had! We were told there was a delay on food of 20 minutes- it was much longer - we had roast beef dinners, the meat was strange/tasteless, gravy hardly existed so asked for 3 more portions, tasteless as well, roast potatoes were ok but the veg , dreadful! came in 2 small bowls that looked like a pudding bowl, peas and green beans..NO carrots or carrot and swede..like on photo, no cabbage (unless the tiny bit of dried up leaf in the veg bowl mixed in with everything else was supposed to be cabbage). To top it all it looked like it had been nuked in the microwave! Inedible! I asked the waitress where was the carrots..she replied they had ran out! The waitress offered us the â40% off offerâ that was on ( I already had a voucher), paid and left wishing I had sent everyoneâs whole meal back, felt sick! But had an elderly lady with us so we paid and left quietly. Terrible!

Went to Marcellos tonight for food with my partner and parents for a relaxed friday night meal out, never having been before we werenât sure what to expect but my partner and father had had their hearts set on a tomahawk steak for a while so we booked Macellos. Firstly we booked last minute for two people and then invited my parents so phoned back to amend the reservation to four people, the member of staff was so friendly when we phoned up to change the reservation. When we got to Marcellos the staff were all so friendly and welcoming, nothing seemed like too much trouble. Then the food came ... starters of new delhi chicken, kuftah tabrizi and persian soufflé ... all I can say is WOW!! blown away!!! I would go back again and again just for the chicken haha ... and then we had the steak (Tomahawk of course ... which with 4 sides was easily enough for four people) and its was unbelievable!!! Sliced and cooked table side by the chef, which is fantastic to watch and then just brilliantly cooked, wonderful flavour, well seasoned ... Fantastic!!! And then ... desserts ... we got a Lemon cheesecake, a Berry cheesecake and the Baklava (again there was a bit of table side serving) and again just absolutely unbelievable... the baklava was my favourite and just blew me away and my dad declared that the Berry cheesecake was now the best cheesecake heâd ever eaten (a record that had not been broken for 40 years!!!). So all in all ... friendly, attentive staff (even to the extent of asking if we wanted to take the bone home to give the left over steak to our dogs ... which they thoroughly enjoyed!!), lovely environment and fabulous food. For me this is the first restaurant in a very long time that I havenât left feeling disappointed, so thank you for a wonderful evening Marcellos!!!!!

Serving delicious Turkish and Mediterranean cuisine
1st time, wouldn't recommend due to waiting time. Waited 40 minutes for a main meal from just 2 people, not even had starters as read the portions were of a decent size. Restaurant wasnât that busy with it being a Sunday. Food was nice but spoilt it by the waiting time. Even the waitress agreed with the time it took! Not a sorry for ur wait or anything!
