Eaten here few times when I've been in the area on business. Absolutely superb. A cross between Italian and Greek food. The presentation, flavour and quality of the food is outrageously good.Highly recommended.

Nach 24 Jahren zurück in Schloss Neuhaus waren wir auf der Suche nach einem Snack. Das Schlössle war trotz Feiertag leer, aber reichlich Servicekräfte, weil wohl ein Nachmittagskaffee stattfinden wird.Der Chef empfahl Flammkuchen mit Blutwurst und Apfelscheiben: lecker. Service war sehr nett und freundlich.

Friends took me for breakfast when I was visiting Germany last week and I was very impressed. The location is great and the service was perfect. The buffet was varied and interesting and I particularly liked the fact that the freshly prepared scrambled egg, bacon and sausages was served at the table enduring it wasn't getting dry sitting on the buffet. The only one negative was how far we had to walk to get coffee but were informed that from this week there will be fresh coffee on the tables. The price was also great...even though I was invited I'd go again and recommend it.

Varied offer of reasonably priced dishes. We had an Argentinian rumpsteak from the "Grillkarte", tender and cooked as we had requested, one medium, one rare. A richer choice of dry red German wines would be welcome.

I noticed the place from the road. It was filled with people so I took that as a good sign.I ordered the 250g steak with baked potato. The service was quick. The wait staff was nice and spoke English very well. A bonus since my German is lacking.The food looked fairly good when it arrived as can be seen in the photo. The steak looked great with nice grill marks. The backed potato was covered by 200ml of dill sour cream.The steak was slightly over cooked but still edible though it lacked taste. The meat was poorly chosen. It was very hard to cut through since there was a great deal of gristle throughout the cut. In addition, it was dry. It isn't often I want a steak sauce. This time it was needed.I tried to remove most of the sour cream but it was a failed mission. It was low quality to begin with and poured onto a well over cooked baked potato. It was on there to hide the brownish yellow meat of the potato.To make the experience more interesting, the table I was at was infested with flies. At one point, I counted six flies either on the table or trying to land on me or the food.

Looked at Trip Advisor as I wanted to try some thing local, rather than the hotel restaurant.This restaurant is away from the high street in a quite domestic housing area, but well worth the walk.We spoke virtually no German, the staff we pretty fluid in English.Couldn't fault it - friendly place, good food and great beer and for a very reasonable price.

I liked this restaurant for the decorations, the good beer on tap and the good cuisine. I tied the Gypsy schnitzel - a dish I tried before in Munich, but here it was much better. Would return to this restaurant if I stay in Paderborn again. The restaurant is in the center, in a walking distance to all major cities in this city. A possible problem could be that the kitchen closes early enough - at 21:50 we were told to order fast, if we want to be served ...
