I wanted to buy some guinea fowl for Christmas dinner. Not many other places sell them. I tried local butchers and supermarkets - no luck! Waitrose sold them but they were always out of stock and I couldn't order them. However, Lobbs sold them and I could order them and come in and pick them up at my convenience. They were very helpful regarding how many I would need for my party. They also sold partridges, pheasants and venison and all this could be pre-ordered. They also sell a wide range of organic, local produce, including artisan, local cheeses and locally produced wine. Friendly, helpful staff.

Atishoo Gallery is full to the brim with coastal inspired homewares, original art, prints, cards, jewellery, pottery and glassware. Now in their 17th year in the historic village of Charlestown, owners and artists Liz and Paul have built up a reputation for sourcing an eclectic range of gift-ware all designed or made in the UK. They also offer a bespoke picture framing service in the onsite workshop, framing everything from photos to original art and memorabilia. The gallery is based in a two storey barn conversion in a pretty courtyard opposite the chapel.
