We were forced to find an alternative to our all inclusive hotel (Jagerhaus, Langenau) due to the poor quality there and found this nearby restuaurant. The food was excellent and the waitress assisted with a wine choice, also very good. The reason for a 4 is that service was slow as she was on her own. Fine if you're not in a hurry and want a relaxed evening and would recommend it to anyone staying in the area or passing through. It is part of a reasonably priced hotel although cannot comment on the standard as we weren't staying there.

Wer Montags oder Freitags keine groÃe Lust hat, selbst zu kochen, sollte sich im Ulmer Norden hier mal umschauen.Auf der kleinen Speisekarten gibts an diesen Tagen immer auch eine schwäbische Spezialität. Das können mal Kuttel, Tellersulz oder auch lecker Backhähnchen sein. Aber, wie man schon an dem Essen sieht, ist das nicht zwingend für jedermann. Also nicht beschweren, wenn es für die Kleinen nicht unbedingt Pommes mit Schnitzel gibt! Das Essen selbst ist jedoch immer frisch gemacht und besonders an Backhähnchentagen sollte man immer früh genug da sein! Die Wirtschaft selbst ist einfach aber sauber und wenn es zu voll ist, einfach Fragen, dann rutscht mal halt etwas enger zusammen.Zudem möchte ich auch den selbstgemachte Kuchen aufführen. Die sind immer lecker, aber wie so oft, wer zu spät kommt, bekommt nichts mehr! ;-)Dazu das frische Bier und im Sommer der wirklich schöne Biergarten mit einigen überdachten Sitzplätzen. Darum in Anlehnung an meinen Verbewerter Florian M: Einfach, aber gut!

We came with our kids to eat for dinner. Very tasty local cooking, good value for money. The personnel was very kind and friendly, and open to having kids in their place. We would come back with pleasure.

Had dinner there, choose local specialities soup (tomato and Maultaschen) which both were excellent and main course (Maultaschen and Käsespätzle). Both were with a good price / size relation, taste was excellent the service, as mentioned, fast and very friendly and attentive - always checking if everything was fine (in English and German!) and taking care that our glasses were never empty! Excellent especially when you have a working dinner!

Really friendly owner and the food was good, plentiful and wholesome. set by a small canal it has outdoor seating off road,although there is a busy road running quite near it.Order the sausages and sauerkraut, delicious,as is the pork schnitzel
