Reviews on Fusion food in Cordoba, Province of Cordoba, Spain. Córdoba was once the premier city of the Western World, the greatest metropolis west of Constantinople, and the seat of Europe’s first university. Today, there’s a modern commercial center, but most travelers love strolling the town’s ancient cobblestone streets, peeking through gates for glimpses of lush flowers and beautiful tiled fountains.

We ate here twice during our short stay in a chilly, wet April week and were very impressed by the quality of the food and service. There are many restaurants along this road by the river but this is really the star. The restaurant is decorated in modern Spanish style, light and airy with a menu in English which is varied and imaginative. We began with a delicious glass of Cava and our choices for main course arrived in a timely manner with a service that was attentive but not intrusive. The cooking though is superb with food beautifully presented, every mouthful a delight. Don't walk past!

Stopped for lunch while visiting the museums around Plaza del Potro east of main tourist area. Much less busy than around the Mezquita and Juderia, nice to sit outside in relative calm. Really enjoyable Mazamorra soup and tapas, efficient and friendly service.Thank you very much for giving us your opinion, we love that you liked the "Mazamorra", it is not easy for this dish to please the British. You make us very happy. Thanks and see you soon.

Ate here on a busy Feria Saturday when the town was buzzing with visitors. We had passed here a few times but had not tried it because it always seemed fairly empty. As with everywhere else it was packed but service was excellent, food was well above the normal tourist fare and prices were reasonable.

First argentinian- Spanish restaurante in the juderia.....asador, steakhouse, charcoal grill, argentinian beef. Traditional cordoban food, tipical argentinian kitchen.
We utilised this restaurant last Saturday evening and being British, made a reservation for 8.30PM. On arriving we were shown to a table in the ground floor section in what was then an empty restaurant. This meant that we received almost personal service from the main waiter for at least the first hour until another French couple arrived and then till just past 10PM when wave upon wave of locals arrived filling both floors of the restaurant within minutes.Three of us went for the steak options and one for the pork and all meals were very good and substantial. Just went for the local house red wine and in keeping with other restaurants we experienced during our visit to Cordoba, this was also very good, especially for the price. And of course you cannot fault personal service, so all in all this was also a great last night meal for us in Cordoba.

Steakhouse. Uruguayan restaurant. Grilled meats. Veal chop. Uruguayan high loin Angus- Aberdeen. Octopus on the coals.
âWith naturalnessâ, this is the best way to describe this hidden gem. This is not only a superb steak house but also a lot of other important things. On one hand you have the excellent natural meat. They offer you a selection of the best Aberdeen Angus meats. Yes, they are absolutely natural meats bred in the pastures of Uruguay. On the other hand, Daniel (the chef) cooks meats at perfection but he barbeques many other interesting things including wonderful grilled octopus legs with jacket potatoes. Everything its cooked for you, nothing to see with those restaurants where the microwave oven is the most important tool in the kitchen. And the best evidence of this natural way to prepare your meal is that you can see what is happening ⦠Yes, the grill is at behind the bar and your eyes can learn about how they cook. Great red wines from southern America are offered at reasonable prices (including those rare and excellent carmenere and tanat wines). This restaurant is not a luxury place but a very comfortable one. Juan (the main waiter) treats customers in a very familiar way, which creates a staying at home feeling; this is very much appreciated by locals. Decoration is simple but convenient; and this is one of the explanatory factors of having a good surprise after a luxury meal: you will pay just a very reasonable price! Naturally!I told you: this is a place with naturalness! Enjoy it and come as often as you can as most of local customers do. So booking in advance is advisable.

My wife and I enjoyed a really nice dinner here. The food was excellent - we had gyoza, chilli crab, black noodles and steak - as was the wine. The service was also really good. A good find in Córdoba

Taberna la Cuarta was one of the highlights of our 2-week trip through Andalucia. The food was fresh, delicious, and artistically presented. Highlights were the creamy mango puree with smoked sardine and trout roe (one of my all-time favorites), crispy fried Brussels sprouts served over a layer of salmorejo (Andalucian gazpacho), and the bluefin tuna tartar. Pepe, our waiter, treated us like family--he was so warm and attentive that we felt we'd known him for years. We enjoyed our meal so much that we returned the following evening for my birthday. It was a busy night, but Pepe made time to check on us and even brought a nice birthday dessert to help celebrate the occasion. We'll never forget his kindness and how much we enjoyed the food, service, and genuine warmth of our too-short visit here.
