Well worth the climb and the down hill is great. I did this ride on the return cycle from Lilydale to Warburton, total 90ks. Amazing scenery, I’d class this as an easy ride, the only step part is the climb to the Aqueduct section. Highly recommend to future cyclists...

We were driving to the summit of Mt Donna Bueng and stopped halfway up for the tree boardwalk , absolutely spectacular with all round views of the forest ,with some of the enormous trees and tree ferns . Fairly easy walking on the metal boardwalk , just wish I could have been able to identify some of the leviathans growing here in this temperate forest haven.

I was impressed with this Visitor information Center in Warburton. Inside they had a Platypus exhibit . Outside there was a waterwheel. And at the back there were paintings from the past of this city. They even had a gift shop. However, they have us directions to several attractions. I liked that. The clerks were very friendly. A must see!

It was indeed a day trip from Cranbourne East for us and worth of all walking from main street as it was a packed day with cars. was blown away by those majestic trees and scenic view it provides 360 deg to naked eye. utter silence in that very place can devour your feelings the moment you step in to the middle of those giants. Peacefulness in one word

The Official Site for Warburton Valley - The Waterwheel in the township of Warburton provides tourist information, an artists gallery, an Environment Centre and showcases locally handmade goods. The Waterwheel on the main street of Warburton is your destination for all things Warburton Valley. More than a Visitor Information Centre, The Waterwheel is home to the gorgeous Handmade shop, a hub for local wine, an Art Gallery and eco Indoor Forest. Art also elevates the surrounding parklands to visual experiences that nourish and inspire. Don't miss the Great Steps of Warburton, a community art project, the historical murals on the railway siding and totem poles. The historic Waterwheel is an icon of the towns ever-evolving story and a great place to stop by.
A very interesting highlight of the information centre. Great for anybody wanting to watch a working waterwheel.

Short drive from Warburton to the car park, which is easy to find as well signed. The trail is a 3.2 km return walk to the falls. Sturdy footwear & a moderate level of fitness required as some slightly steep sections & exposed tree roots & rocks. Very peaceful walk & the falls are lovely especially after rain. Closest public toilets are in town.
