A very holy experience. As a Catholic I had a life-changing experience and want to thank the Conventional Friars James and Gerard Mary for their healing presence and Bernadette in the Cafeteria Victorious.

Walsingham is a lovely village steeped in history. The shrine is set in lovely gardens with lots of icons. The shrine itself is stunning. The architecture, the windows, everything about this is beautiful. We had our two young grandsons with us aged 10 and 8 and even they were impressed. So peaceful and tranquil I could have spent hours here. Whether you are religious or not you cannot fail to be impressed. Can understand why so many people visit here.

Here in Walsingham we want to celebrate everything that is great about Norfolk food. Locally sourced, ingredients to cook with, or dishes we've prepared in our kitchens ready for your plate. Our vision is to connect our great local producers directly with customers and fill our shops with the best of fresh local Norfolk produce. We are in the heart of rural North Norfolk surrounded by farmland, with pretty much everything available on the doorstep. We know our customers want to know where their food comes from, and to buy the best of local produce at a good price. As farmers we would love our customers to understand more about how food is produced locally and how the countryside is shaped by food production.
We had found this place during a pre-lockdown visit, earlier this year, just as all the shops and supermarkets were being raided for toilet-rolls and chickens (eg). We had taken the 10 1/4” gauge Wells train to Walsingham as a spur of the moment idea. We only had 1hr to kill before we needed to be back on the train, so walked about. The Farm Shop was the first thing we found, just being downhill from the train terminus. We were able to get the food we needed yet couldn’t find elsewhere. This time, there were the usual social-distancing and hygiene accommodations. The wide and superlative range of foods hadn’t changed dramatically- thankfully. This is a must visit place.
