On a stop through Moscow, we rented bikes for the Bill Chipman trail to Pullman. Everything went very well and the staff were were super friendly and helpful.

Very pretty, very peaceful. Great place for walking or jogging. The garden has many different plant species.

VERY well maintained trail. Any bumps are in areas with trees, and that happens anywhere. You can see where they periodically fix them. Every 5 miles there is a bathroom, one of which has a bike service station complete with tools and pump! Scenery is diverse and beautiful. Mild chills make it appropriate for all levels. Ignore the posts about maniacal riders and dog poop. I've ridden the trail dozens of times and like any trail there are occasional poops, but they are rare and the cyclists, runners, and walkers are almost always polite. I've ridden thousands of miles on multi purpose trails in all parts of the country and for an area as rural as this, it stands with the best of them.

A one-level enclosed shopping center that serves as a vibrant retail and dining hub for the diverse population of the region, it features more than 60 businesses. Shopping and dining choices for the entire family, it includes a great selection of favorite brand and anchor stores.
I have always loved this mall, since it is closer that Spokane. My favorite stores are Bed Bath and Beyond, Hot Topic, Old Navy, and Auntie Ann. I am so glad there is a Bed Bath and Beyond close to Idaho, as I hate having to shop online at that store. I also love Auntie Ann, and get a pretzel and cheese every time I go there. It is like a tradition for me. Overall, considering the area, it is a pretty good mall with stores I really like, especially the Printshop

Small reservoir with piers for fishing. Canoes and kayaks are allowed on the water too. (Don't think they allow motors.) This water is stocked with rainbow trout a couple times each spring. There are resident Osprey that fly over the water and then dive down to catch a fish...great fun to watch. Also I've seen a couple Bald Eagles there as well. There is a small swim area and a campground for overnight tent campers for a small fee. There is no charge for fishing, parking, swimming or canoing. A beautiful place to spend a part of a day fishing, canoing, or swimming.
