Island Mix is the home to over 60 St Lucian artisans and the only shop of its kind, featuring a collection of art, clothing, jewelry, pottery, food and snacks, carvings, home decor and much more. Most times you will find a visiting artisan or a class or two on our patio. We are situated in the heart of Rodney Bay along the loop road. Our view of the marina and bay from the patio just adds to the ambiance where we serve tea, coffee and a limited snack menu all made locally. New to our cafe is a daily lunch of curried chicken, lamb, beef or vegetarian A water front casual dining experience in Thursdays for fish and chips, yes with malt vinegar but no mushy peas. High tea is also an option but we ask for a booking 48hrs in advance. in addition, We have now added a room for visitors on airbnb.
What I was missing on so many iles on the Caribbean Sea I was finding in Gros Islet: a place with great coffee & snacks in a location with great view and and awesome spirit.... Room to rent also available!

What a welcoming group of parishioners! We arrived 40 minutes before worship started. People coming in, greeting one another all while the rosary is being recited. As the bells ring calling all to Mass, someone saw that we didn’t have a missal or hymnal and gave us theirs. Wonderful music, choir, and worshiper voices. A great place to praise and thank God for the many gifts he sends our way. The photo I am including was taken shortly after we arrived. The church was full by the time Mass began at 7:30 am. 2 hours later, having shook many hands and enjoyed many hugs and a meaningful sermon and reception of our Lord, we left loving this island and it’s people.

With over 45 duty-free stores and restaurants spread across two floors, a casino, bank, supermarket, multi-storey sheltered free car park and a limited number of penthouse apartments there really is no better place to kick-start your visit to the island.
Lovely Mall within walking distance if you are staying in Rodney Bay. This mall has it all. Along with your shopping needs they are restaurants should you need to have lunch or dinner. Also a supermarket should you require a few necessities to take back to the hotel. Just remember to walk with your passport to cash in on the great duty free prices available to you
