Undercliff Winery

The Winery was built in 1993 to produce 1500 cases of premium wine per annum and to function as a gallery. The winery was constructed to compliment the existing heritage values of the Undercliff Estate and was built from a combination of local, recycled and modern materials.

Had a wonderful weekend in this little piece of history. We loved our stay because we were not searching for ultra modern conveniences and are not phased by the bits of quirkiness than come with a property like this but if one is picky about those things, they might restrain from making a booking. For history lovers, wine lovers and quirky accepters, you will love staying in the cottage and stopping by the cellar door to share a chat with Peter and try his wines. Being dog friendly with a large space is super useful as well as you can easily organise your trip around this. Thanks Peter and Jane!

Wollombi Village Vineyard

As part of our bike trip we had planned to drop in. I like the fact that it was a vineyard/cellar door within 300 mtrs from the town centre. Was not disappointed. A smaller range of wines, but that does not mean lack of quality. Very reasonable prices. And nonna's heritage shines through with the Grappa's & Limoncellas.

Wollombi Wines

Welcome to our home away from home. I blame the incredible beauty of our vineyard and my partner blames the booze, but the first whiff and taste of our own wine did us in - we were hooked! Create your own travel memoirs in our renovated Ironbark Vineyard Cottage - your own piece of heaven and a private oasis set amongst our vineyard. 30 acres of stunning property is surrounded by a boutique vineyard, rustic meets chic with this quaintly styled attic farmhouse conversion. Enjoy seclusion, views, tranquillity and abundant wildlife from the veranda, or a glass of wine in front of the fireplace. Only 1km from historic Wollombi village and close to other wineries, this is a popular destination for concerts, wine tours & romantic getaways.

Wollombi Markets

Reviewed By Kellnkeith - Hunter Valley, Australia

We travel out to Wollombi for the June long weekend markets every year. Always lots on offer, old wares, home made sauces, clothes to newer items, hand made arts and crafts. Several food and coffee stalls always in attendance. The June public holiday is run by the local fire brigade which ask for a small donation upon entry but also put on a great bbq with very reasonable prices for breakfast and lunch. It attracts quite a crowd so pays to get out there early. Markets are on 4 times per year, Australia Day, Easter Monday, Monday(June long weekend) & Monday (October long weekend) For travellers there is caravan & camping availble adjacent to the markets behind the popular Wollombi Tavern.
