Most visitors to Pokhara stop here before starting or after finishing the "Round Annapurana" trekking route. Because of its popularity with travelers, the city itself has relatively modern hotels and restaurants, but you’ll also find ancient lakes, waterfalls and gorges, and, of course, majestic views of the Himalayan Mountains.

'Cook with delight' is a home based cooking class offered to the foreigners to learn cooking Nepalese cuisine with a lovely local family. Our intention is to teach travelers who want to learn to cook the Nepalese cuisines like Dal Bhat, Mo:mos ,etc. in Pokhara. It's a fun course where the visitors will learn, cook and then finally enjoy their own cooked dish. We love to help you cook your own Nepalese dish!!! (Note: We usually do the class at 5pm. But sometimes the guests may be messaged for different timing.)
We've had a great time at Cook with Delight. Making Mo:mo's was fun and interesting, in a home-like setting with proper instructions, tips and help to make it work. Turned out delicious! It was also nice to be with the family and seeing the nice looking hotel. Very personal and easy (how easy or hard as you like it) experience, lots of fun.

We are Rekha and DB. We live in Pokhara and have our own Foster Foundation for children. We give cooking classes at our home where we teach our famous Nepalese dishes including Dal Bhat and Mo Mo. When you participate in Rekha´s Cooking Class you help to financially support the children in our foster home.
Rekha and DB are a lovely couple who welcome you to their kitchen to learn the art of cooking Nepali food. Made with love, Rekha will show you all the ingredients that go into making Dal Bhat (so you can get Dal Bhat Power 24-hour no matter where you are in the world), Aloo Dum and Momos. For almost 4 hours we laughed, prepared and cooked the food together, exchanging stories and learning some Nepali words too. I would not recommend eating breakfast beforehand because your stomachs will be more than truly satisfied with this Nepali feast!
