Escaped the crowds at Bluewater and went into Dartford to eat at Wimpy. Arrived at noon and Wimpy was really packed. However food still came in under 15 minutes and was lovely and hot. After the Christmas break nice to get back to burger and chips. Also had pot of tea and that was also good. Given how busy it was it was very clean

1st time order. Ordered chicken curry, chicken Chinese style, egg fried rice. Chicken curry was ok, uninspiring flavour, no squelchy meat at least as some Chinese restaurants seem to serve. Chicken Chinese style was again, uninspiring, pleasant enough but more on the bland side. Rice was fine. Chinese is a very subjective food, people who detest one and others will ferociously defend it. This simply wasn't to my taste. Staff were all friendly.

I just checked and it is three years since I gave this restaurant a glowing review. Having been a long time visitor since it first opened in Bluewater over 20 years ago, the last few years have seen choices and quality of dishes fall and many dishes disappear, especially prawn dishes. For the first time ever today, I was very disappointed in virtually every dish we chose or ordered. The conveyor belt offered nothing but rice dominated tit bits and even our favourite sashimi salmon and tuna didn't seem to be as fresh and firm as they used to be. Soft shell crab has disappeared and the only prawn dish was one fried in breadcrumbs. Sad to see such a swift deterioration of this famous chain and not as though there are many such restaurants to choose from. Sadly, we are going to say goodbye to Yo and next time we visit Bluewater we shall go to another restaurant and have no interest in visiting a new one now opened in Ashford. Guess it is also down to people with kids just wanting something quick, cheap and tasteless and think they are eating Japanese.Hi Travelwise207 thank you for taking the time to leave us your honest feedback. Every year we change our menu to make it better and better. We remove the least popular dishes and increase production of the most popular ones. Also constantly improving already existing dishes. I am sorry to hear that you haven't found anything interesting for you as we keep changing our menu to follow food trends and our customers don't have to eat another boring sandwich but they can eat in colour. My family have used Britannia Grill for many many years. The food is always cooked freshly, the salad is always fresh and crisp. The service is efficient and friendly, always. My sons are grown with families of their own now but when they come home they always have to have Britt grill one night.

Came recommended while at a business meeting with 10 others. We all descended at once and ordered a wide variety of sandwiches and baps to takeaway.First there was a good choice, second they were not stingy with the fillings, third we had some great banter while they prepared them and finally they tasted great.Thumbs up all round - we will be back
