We used to go to Sankeys fish bar till someone recommended this chip shop, we used to live in Norton and didn't realise they delivered! They do the best battered chips/orange chips ever! Always on time and the delivery people are always so friendly, totally recommend.

We've used Broadway Spice for a long time and generally the service has been excellent, prompt delivery - especially on a Friday night, and the food is great, however from tonights experience we're now having second thoughts where we shall place our orders from now on.Having decided on an Indian meal tonight we had no hesitation ordering from the Broadway via "Just Eat" and being a quiet Monday night we expected nothing different than the high quality service we have experienced previously time and time again.Unfortunately after an hour waiting we called to see where our meal was - "10 to 15 minutes" we were told and around 20 minutes later there was a knock at the door. A feeble "sorry its late" from the delivery driver but at least we had our meal, as we thought.Table laid and all sat down to enjoy when we established that half the order was missing. Back on the phone and a further 15/20 minutes later the other half arrived to accompany the now barely warm half delivered earlier.Other than another verbal apology, compensation amounted to a couple of free extra papadums to add to those already ordered with the meal.Poor, poor quality service I'm afraid and given the number of alternative local Indian food outlets we could use there really is no excuse for such poor service, especially on a "quiet" day.Perhaps there may have been temporary staff in tonight but given this experience you may wish to order with a degree of trepidation, we certainly shall in future.A very disappointed and loyal (until now) customer.

Been here twice on the last month or so and not being to sure the 1st time, tried it again last night. I had the basic curried chicken with egg fried rice and a few chips. It looked to orangey and didn't taste like curry i had from other takeaways. The chips were ok but I only had 2 mouthfuls and chucked it. I won't be returning

We visit here whenever we have a chippy, which isn't that often but we are always pleased with the food and service. The staff are so friendly and always keep my husband talking... although this time they forgot my chips in my chicken meat special!!! LolWill go back though! Just pinched some of the kids!

When visiting my family we often treat ourselves to a take-away meal from the Silly Sausage and we are never disappointed. The food is always fresh, the service is always friendly and the prices are incredibly cheap. Years ago (1960s/70s), this was called Chambers fish & chips & was the best chip shop in the area by some distance. It went into decline in the 1980s and took some time to recover. It has now though & I can happily say that, once again, it is the best chippy in the area.

So many delicious sounding items to choose from the extensive menu.Online ordering is easy & quick. Seems that no matter which starter or main meal I choose, the Redforte never fails to impress. Iâm still working through the dishes, but somehow "instinctively know" that everything that I try will be SUPERB!!
