This is a sandwich restaurant that is located in a student center on the Virginia Tech campus, very close to Pamplin Hall. The location and the facility are great. The prices are very reasonable. The food was delicious and the drinks were great. The service was also efficient. This is a great place for a study break.
At Wendy's in Blacksburg, VA we're serving burgers made with 100% fresh, never frozen beef. Order natural cut fries, Wendy's classic chicken nuggets, fresh salads, a sweet Frosty®, or meaty Baconator® at a Wendy's near you. See our Wendy's Blacksburg, VA
Dropped on the spur if the moment for lunch on Thursday about 1:30 pm. This Wendy's is located on the corner of the Virginia Tech campus and thus caters to the university crowd. They offer free wifi. Very clean inside, standard Wndy's menu, counter persons very familiar with the menu, friendly and helpful. Was not crowded or noisy. My wife and I ordered two "half portion" salads and small soft drinks. Total came to about $12. The only complaint has to do with access. The town of Blacksburg recently converted the intersection near Wendy's into a rotary and in doing so put Wendy's at a great disadvantage. The entrance from Main Street is difficult to find and can only be entered from one direction. Likewise you can only exit in one direction meaning you have to make a circuitous route if you need to go in the opposite direction. But, I imagine most of their patrons arrive on foot to and from the campus.
Recently I celebrated my birthday and asked to go somewhere different for a sweet treat. I had received an ad for a new place in Blacksburg that I thought would fit the bill. So my husband and I headed to J-Petal. We both ordered J-PETAL COCKTAIL crepes and strawberry colada light bulb drinks. It was wonderful! The crepes look like a work of art. You almost hate to eat it because it is so pretty but there's no way you can resist digging in to the deliciousness. Also the light bulb drinks are really festive. This is a great place to go that is fun and delicious. There were some children there during our visit and they were so excited as the workers were rolling the Thai ice cream. It was fun watching how they reacted.

We ate at the Double Dragon on a bit of a lark. It looked like every other Chinese Fast food restaurant we'd been to. However, the lady at the counter was very helpful on explaining several of the menu items and making recommendations. The fook was better than I expected.
We enjoyed Bojangles' on our recent trip to Blacksburg. Food is quick and reasonably priced. The dirty rice and chicken are good. They have a breakfast menu as well. The biscuits were fabulous with butter and honey.

This is the first time we had ever been to a Firehouse Subs. Our subs were the best we've ever had. I had a veggie sub. Most of the time veggie subs have just cold vegetables but mine had grilled vegetables and lots of gooey melted cheese. You need lots of napkins but it was yummy. The amount of meat on my husband's sub was tremendous. He was in heaven. It's too bad this chain is not in our area.Thank you so much for the fantastic review, Jill. Your kind words are deeply appreciated and we can't wait to share them with the Virginia Tech team. We hope this means we can count you in as a fan! Feel free to email a new location suggestion to [email protected]. Hopefully, we can open a location near you in the future. Susan/Guest Services

We stopped here our first night in Blacksburg for dinner. Bennyâs was highly recommend and my sonâs loved the 28â pizza. 1 pizza filled all three of us up!The local homemade ice cream sold in pints is also very good with interesting flavors. They also have plenty of drinks to choose from. This is a fun atmosphere though very tiny.
