The Old Kennels Farm is situated on the edge of Ledbury in picturesque Herefordshire. We run 6 self catering Holiday cottages sleeping from 2-6 people, all fully equipt. The mainline railway station is an easy 5 minute walk away, with regular trains to Hereford, Worcester, and Birmingham, London Paddington. On site we have our very own cider and cycle hire. and a short walk across the field leads you to our fishing lake.
We stayed in Brown Snout cottage for two weeks, it was very comfortable, especially the bed which is important! The kitchen was well equipped with everything you could possibly need, including a diswaher! The bathroom was clean with a powerful shower. There is a porch which was a good storage area for walking shoes, coats and rucksacks but it was also nice to sit in there at night watching the sun go down. The family that run it along with their cider farm were friendly and most helpful suggesting walks from the cottages and places we should visit. Its a five minute walk to the railway station with trains to Worcester in one direction and Hereford in the other and the town centre is only a 10/15 minute walk away with local shops, coffee shops, chippy, Aldi, Tesco etc. If you follow the Town trail five minutes from the cottages, it takes you on a disused railway line that was ideal for walking our dog off lead. Its a good base for visiting Tewkesbury, Ross on Wye, Symonds Yat, Monmouth, Gloucester and walking the Malvern hills was lovely, the views are amazing.

Open everyday until the end of October Half Term 2021. We have one of the most comprehensive collections of owls in Europe, alongside an amazing variety of friendly miniature and rare breed animals. The 'hands on' experience is encouraged. A special parking area is provided for the disabled. A shaded parking area is set aside for dog owners. We recommend you phone ahead to clarify how to locate these. All display areas are accessible by wheelchair. Mobility scooters are available on free loan, booking ahead is advisable.
Located in beautiful Herefordshire countryside the Small Breeds Farm is a perfect place to spend the day. Brilliant for adults and families, there is a great selection of wonderful animals. The centre has a fantastic owl collection which is well laid out with informative signs. The rest of the animals are spread out throughout the farm, there are sheep, goats, llamas, pygmy goats, various other birds, donkeys, pigs, rabbits, chipmunks and a lovely water area with some giant tortoises nearby. It's a lovely relaxing place to enjoy the day particularly if the weather is good. You can feed some of the animals and get up close and personal. Many are free to roam around and are happy to interact with you. There is a cafe on site and a picnic area, so you can bring your own food or buy some home-made delights instead. Brilliant Covid measures are in place and there is a one way system through the park. Staff are really welcoming and helpful. Great value for money and lots of fun too.

Welcome to Wynnes of Dinmore! Traditionally Farmers (for 5 generations, in fact) who have always resided in Hope-Under-Dinmore, in November 2015 the Wynne Family diversified and created the Wynnes Country Store you see today. Where you can see and purchase pygmy goats, Alpacas, Chickens and more! Including a gift shop and well-stocked supply section for your pet & livestock needs. The quality-proven housing they provide, is manufactured on site by their own carpenters, who can also create bespoke builds to suit every garden and smallholding. Additionally, in amongst their team are two SQP’s (Suitably Qualified Person) who can supply animal medicinal products and advice. Wynnes have long been successful public suppliers of poultry and livestock, equipment, housing and feed along with advice (based on 25 years of experience) and have built a worthy reputation from this. They pride themselves on strong customer service and feedback and are always available for help and advice. Welcome

Our farm enables families and groups to have fun, safe, quality time together with our friendly animals, activities and play areas. As usual nothing stays the same for long here. Our new Playbarn has been going down well with all our young visitors. Our large selection of friendly, eager to eat out of your hand animals, are waiting to see you! We look forward to seeing you too!
We spent Good Friday here with our 3 children and the grandparents. It was busy but due to the way the park is spread out, it didn't feel overly crowded. There were plenty of activities which suited both our 5 year old boy and 2 year old twin girls including animal petting and feeding, tractor riding as well as the sandpits, hay bales and all the indoor and outdoor play areas which are dotted around throughout the park. Lots of different animals to see including goats, sheep, llamas, donkeys, chickens and rabbits. There was a special Easter trail which our son thoroughly enjoyed taking part in. We took our own picnic lunch but bought ice creams from the shop. There was plenty to do to keep kids occupied all day and ticket prices were really good value. Thoroughly recommend for a fab family day out.

Staying in Ludlow for a few days, and did a walk at NT Berrington Hall in the morning. Monkdale Cheese Dairy popped up with excellent tripadvisor reviews, so as it was raining almost non-stop we decided not to go and hunt around unfamiliar Leominster and booked a table earlier in the morning for lunch. In fact we didn’t need to book, very pleasant light and airy upstairs room (and outdoor tables if sunny). Excellent ploughman’s lunches, one ham one blue cheese so we could mix and match, and good range of soft drinks. Fantastic cheeses, cakes, pickles, biscuits, etc on sale in shop, and both that and the café were quite busy on a miserable day, promptly served by friendly staff. After lunch we dived back out into the rain, well nourished!
