Wuhan (simplified Chinese: 武汉; traditional Chinese: 武漢; pinyin: Wǔhàn; [ù.xân] ( listen)) is the capital of Hubei province, People's Republic of China, and is the most populous city in Central China. It lies in the eastern Jianghan Plain on the middle reaches of the Yangtze River at the intersection of the Yangtze and Han rivers. Arising out of the conglomeration of three cities, Wuchang, Hankou, and Hanyang, Wuhan is known as 'China's Thoroughfare' (zh); it is a major transportation hub, with dozens of railways, roads and expressways passing through the city and connecting to other major cities. Because of its key role in domestic transportation, Wuhan is sometimes referred to as "the Chicago of China" by foreign sources.

Me and my friends visited Desi Masala Restaurant last week and ordered some of the most popular dishes there. They really surprised me with the authentic taste. I tried Pakistani food before at some other places. But the food here is amazing!! Butter Chicken, Naan, Biryani,,,And my friendâs kid said that this was the best chicken nuggets he had ever tried The service was great. The staff was really sweet and friendly. Definitely will visit again. Highly recommended
I ordered gin tonic and fish and chips. Fish is ok but chips are not retried. Quite oily but fish is begging expectation in China.

Nice to see a hotel buffet that blends local favorites with international favorites. The hand pulled noodles and grills are very good. House made pâtés and ice creams, and the desserts are excellent.

Let me start off by stating that I have not had very good Italian food in China--the noodles are usually overcooked or the sauces are completely non-Italian--something is always off and it feels like a Chinese version of Italian food. So, I was very pleasantly surprised at the Damiano. I ordered hand-made pasta con fungi and it was absolutely delicious--exactly how it would be prepared in Italy (it is one of my favorite dishes from Italy so I have quite high standards for it). I knocked off a star because the quantity was on the low side. I had grilled prawns (2 in total) that costed about $12-13 USD. The pasta, while great, was about $18 USD but the portion was super tiny. It may have had real porcini mushrooms in there so maybe that's why the price for the quantity but I would have definitely liked just a little bit more food for what I paid.

I had seen pictures of the Atomium before but wasnât prepared for the giant structure I saw when I visited. It rose before me,a huge shiny edifice towering above the landscape and dwarfing everything around. It consists of several spherical metallic balls inter connectedby by huge tubes. At the base you have a souvenir shop and the entrance to climb to the top.I couldnât go up because I didnât buy a ticket but it would have been worth it.Around the edifice were shops and restaurants and crowds patronizing them .Some were having picnics on the lawns and generally milling around and having a good time with friends and families.A uniformed musical band of about six persons with various instruments was riding on one long bicycle with several pedals and making melody as they went round. It was a festive atmosphere.

I rarely give 5 stars and maybe I was really in the mood as it worked perfectly for me after a big hot day exploring Wuhan's attractions.Huge array of bottled beer and draught beer, good service especially the charming eye-pleasing Millie and great atmosphere. The chicken burger fomr 20rmb (I think) was on panini bread with a whole chicken breast and goes down smooth sauce. Started with a Belgian bottled Hoogenwarts (sic), then Carlsberg draught until it ran out and then switched to Asahi. Bruno the kind Frenchman (not an oxymoron) bought me Gordons gin and tonic while engaging Millie in sexy French dialogue ala Addams Family. Ah the scent of a woman.Great mix of ecpats and Chinese cosmopolitan types. No whinging teachers having a vent as sometimes happens to add the magic, I even navigated the metro home without getting list Anyway do yourself a favour as we Aussies say.

Iâm very picky with food, specially Italian food. In my experience, you find Italian restaurants in Asia which are a fusion/mix of Italian/ Asian twist which I donât like. I was SO happy when I got an amazing dish of gnocchi with an authentic Italian taste. I felt I was back in Rome! My husband ordered a pizza and it was big and delicious. If you are in Wuhan and crave for authentic Italian food and want to enjoy a sophisticated ambience at very affordable prices, you have to go to Noi.
