Were guests at the hotel and had already planned to eat here so that we could relax and have a drink. The bar area is a nice relaxed place. The restaurant is quite small but tables are arranged well, not too cramped on space. The menu is limited on options, but we prefer a smaller menu as it usually means that items are cooked well as they have to stand up to many orders. We consider the prices to be at the highest of acceptable for this type of establishment. Everything was cooked and presented very well, meal for two with two starters, two mains, one desert and a bottle of wine was around £70.Wonderful! Me and my husband went in for dinner and were surprised to find an area of Stalham we'd never been before, an enchanting river side location. The Slipper is situated in a flint and brick barn and done up beautifully.An exciting menu with classics and a twist, generous portion sizes and totally flavoursome. We liked all the extras and additional touches - like the dish of dauphinoise on the side of the venison steak. Great service, relaxed atmosphere and comfortable restaurant. It has the feel of a real treat but without the inflated prices - a restaurant with ethics, using local produce, donating to charity and a place you can become a regular.Parking outside - Easy to find - We've already brooked in for Sunday lunch. We ate there last night and the food, cocktails and service were all outstanding. Pamela's provides more than a meal, the whole evening was an occasion and felt very special, a real treat. Lovely to be able to get this quality of food and service in Gt Yarmouth.

Fantastic service, Will was excellent, polite, friendly and helpful. We had fish, chips, mushy peas and a salad garnish. The plate was huge, and so delicious. The fish, i could of eaten again it was so nice, the fish was white, soft and cooked to perfection. Nothing was too much trouble. The price was really good too. Had we stayed in Great Yarmouth we would definitely eat here again. Next time we visit we will be eating here. They have a varied menu, which all smelt delicious, spoilt for choice. Highly recommend. Thank you

My husband booked this restaurant as a surprise for our 1st wedding anniversary. We both decided to go for the 6 course taster menu together with the wine flight. Each course was beautifully presented and tasted great. I tried things that I had not eaten before, which was quite adventurous for me! All the wines selected to go with each course were perfectly chosen. The ambience and service was first class. Thank you for making our anniversary evening so perfect. We would definitely go back if we return to Norfolk. Thank you for your recent review. We are delighted to hear that you both enjoyed the tasting menu for your anniversary. Found this place on Google maps whilst visiting GY for the day.It's a fairly quirky and unassuming establishment from the outside but the food is absolutely fantastic. We only had a light lunch but everything was really well presented and tasted delicious.We were really glad we found this place as GY is a typical British seaside resort with a plethora of cheap looking (but not priced) places, so to be able to sit and eat outstanding food in this town was really pleasant.I 100% recommend this restaurant.

This restaurant was formerly called Lazzarellas for which there are several Reviews existing - see the list as I informed you at the end of last year it would be closing. The new owners have improved everything. New decorations, new menu and crockery etc.

Once again another wonderful visit to The Courtyard. Katie again the perfect host. Attention to detail superb.Food was delicious. The atmosphere is spot on and everyone made to feel so welcome. Even though the restaurant is small you still feel like you have plenty of space and are not crammed in.One thing, make sure you book in advance to ensure you donât miss out.
