Small familiar restaurant located in the mountains in the border between Spain and France in the Pyrenees from Girona. Panoramic views with slow food, local & ecological products, traditional cuisine with modern touch.
Tripadvisor already shows many different positive opinions about this excellent restaurant. Just to add something new and different. The young owners really strive to do their best for the customers. They choose a lot of good local and fresh products for their cuisine. Do not miss it. You will not regret it.

Our cuisine is characterised by its true, traditional characteristics, with a local flavour and the careful treatment of ingredients, without renouncing experimentation and the search for new directions. We look for the most rewarding culinary combination
After an 8km hike up some nearby hills we stopped here for some lunch. Beautifully situated in Beget, you get some lovely views sitting outside. Unfortunately (at least at this time of year) they insist you take lunch inside despite it being warm enough outside. The starter (cannelloni) was a bit cold, but the mains were absolutely fine. The place is a bit style over substance, but this is a tourist little village so hey, you know what I'm getting at.

Le restaurant au diamant noir est ouvert du mercredi au dimanche sur réservation alors pensez à réserver!
The welcome is warm and genuine as you enter this charming little mountain restaurant. Although the menu is small, it is well balanced and the wines though limited are suitable. This is a well run , great value bistro

This restaurant is so delicious...there's little more to say, really! If you're staying in Can Soler or Simonet, go to this restaurant at least once, it is amazing. It has traditional food from the area and everything is cooked to perfection. The Entrecot with mushroom sauce killed me. Such good food.

This review would be for the restaurant as opposed to the hostelrie itself - the food was great value and the service fantastic - keen to recommend it!
A damp evening in Prats de Mollo was brightened up by our recent visit to this family run restaurant. The welcome was genuine, and the service pleasantly informal and friendly. We had lunch here last year, sitting at the outside tables but, on a cool evening were pleased to take advantage of the interior, which was warmed by the wood fired pizza oven.As it was outside the main tourist season the restaurant was quiet, indeed there appear to be more diners around Prats at lunchtimes than evenings, when the daytrippers have left. The restaurant offers several menus or A La Carte, and we opted for the 3 course formule at 13 euros, which gave three or four choices per course. In our case, a Charcuterie starter was followed by Steak Frites, and rounded off with Creme Catalan (the Catalan take on Creme Broule). With coffees and a litre of house wine, the bill for the two of us came to around 40 euros - decent value we thought. The food was well prepared and tasty, and we look forward to our another visit. Perhaps next time we will try one of the pizzas from the pizza oven.

We have lived in the area for 10 plus years and this is our favourite restaurant in Prats .The restaurant is fairly small, but Patrick is an accomplished chef, and you can rely entirely on his dishes of the day, which normally show great creativity. If you just want a burger and chips or a sandwich or any other simple meal you will be well provided for.The prices are reasonable and normally the service is friendly and swift.A good place to bring the family.

This is a serious restaurant specialising in local produce with a big local wine list. Although quite expensive by local standards it is easily as good as many top London restaurants at a quarter of the price. Only non-local offering is the aperitif champagne which is anonymous but excellent.
