Need to prebook but its worth it . The lovely garden area at the rear provides a lovely atmosphere for the great food. The veggie dip plus the lovely homemade bread to their own recipe was very welcome precursor to the fish main course and superb desert. If in SM you must eat here! Its hidden away in the back streets but worth tracking it down. Recommended.Hidden away in the back streets? DuCoq is the center of the world!Thank you for your beautiful review, we are proud you ate here twice during your holiday! Above all you appreciated our dessert, we are still working on it to surprise our best clients... What are you waiting for? Come back soon!

Couldn't dine here on our first day as we hadn't made a reservation, snagged one for the next day in a little nook they have down a few steps closer to the beach where they have set up 4 tables. Service was great and the food was good as well. Make sure you get a table outside, the nook can be a bit sunny but once the sun goes down its really pleasant.

Le Cupole Restaurant is located on the top floor of the Grand Hotel Bristol in Rapallo Italy. Great food, unforgattable view, "money for value" place. We are on Alain Ducasse Carnet Gourmand.
We booked this restaurant to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary while on holiday in Italy. We specifically booked this one as it has a tasting menu, something we always look out for.The Hotel (Bristol) is just outside the main area of Rapello some 10 minute walk. The restaurant itself is on the top floor with outside seating which as views go is ok, nothing special.Sadly the food was very much the same, out of the 7 courses, there was only one that stood out as very good, the rest were forgettable, either because they really weren't very good or the presentation was "slopped on a plate"Certainly somewhere I wouldn't rush back to.Dear Guest, thank you for your review and cid sorry to read that you did not perceive the quality you expected. Sometimes the dishes are specially prepared in the way you define "cut" ... Sincerely

A small and cozy restaurant in Camogli. Traditional cuisine with touches of creativity. Fresh local fish, homemade pasta, bread and desserts.
We be waited to post this review until Iâd calmed down and will ultimately explain. We chose this restaurant due to decent reviews on Trip Advisor and entered (following a reservation) an empty restaurant early one evening last week. The lady who served us was very pleasant and speaks English well so we could discuss the menu in detail. The food was fairly good, my wife and I swapped first courses as I wasnât keen on the borage tagliatelle served with the vongole and she wasnât keen on the gnocchi. If truth be told they were both just ok but Iâm not sure why youâd change the winning formula of spaghetti vongole, maybe itâs a local thing.?We had the special for main, a decent sized piece of barone (bass) which was served with a few roasted potatoes. I liked it but my wife didnât like the texture and I understood that as it had a âsous videâ consistency and indeed I would have preferred it hard fried or roasted for a crisper edge with a soft inside but I guess thatâs just our predilection. After weâd finished our meal we were asked whether weâd like dessert so we had a cursory glance at the menu but explained that we had a train back to Rapallo to catch in 15 minutes (we were told it was only 5 minutes away) and that the next one was an hour later so weâd like the bill. It came in 5 minutes but I was ignored when I showed my credit card immediately and she started serving other tables. I didnât expect her to drop everything but taking my money so we could catch my train wouldâve taken less than a minute. We were checking our watches but were consistently ignored so we scraped together the â¬100 euros in cash that we didnât think we had and handed it straight to her and left as quickly as we could. You can probably guess that we missed our train (by two minutes) and had to hang around for another hour - we were furious, it could so easily have been avoided but for some strange reason she wouldnât come over. Well I had to knock a mark off for that, had I written this the next day it wouldâve been two marks. The food we ate - which is all I can speak of - was ok to fine, the restaurant is pretty and we had a good glass of wine as recommended.

I have been at Mille e una Notte several times, always in summer, enjoyed the marvellous terrace and incredible view and had always simple and excellent food.I tried it again in autumn, and ate inside.Very disappointing. The table was below a loudspeaker with pop/radio style music. Too loud.Table was too near a service room (not the kitchen but kind of a storage room). The service was at the real minumum, guess there was just one cook and one person at the tables.Food was below standard, an overcooked fish, and the appetizers were all of average quality.I don't know if they either changed management or they size the place down for the cold season. And from the windows, because of the bad inside illumination, the view was not existing.Guess that the magic of the place is only in the terrace and the view, and most probably they improve the quality of food and of the service in summer. Not recommended, maybe to be tried only in full summer.

Loved the place. Right next to the old castle facing the sea. The service was very good and friendly. A very wide drinks menu. Tried local beers and loved them. They serve a complementary snacks platter which is quite nice and sumptuous. Definitely recommended for a fun evening.

We were recommended this restaurant and the food was amazing. The mini seafood degustation was delicious but the service was a little offhand.
