Professional waiting staff and efficient service. My main of grilled salmon was good however the sticky toffee pudding had been reheated in the microwave and was so over cooked the sauce had burned and was virtually non existent.... this should have been spotted by the chef and/or his staff. A bus load of people arrived when we were eating and this seemed to fluster the staff and it had an impact on the service and food. Overall .... good staff but average food.

My family took me out for Fathers Day. This restaurant is lovely. The food portions were very big and the quality of food was excellent. Staff service was very good. Prices were very reasonable. The dadâs were even given a complimentary whisky.I would highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to coming back.

This restaurant deserves the praise of its followers. Lovely atmosphere, a bit modern but very comfortable, great staff and some very innovative selections on the menu. I mean, haggis and black pudding pizza. Actually very nice.Very refreshing after some very bland UK food.

Service was not the best. Food was pretty average. Ordered a focaccia with garlic and mozzarella. It was over cooked and tasteless. Minestrone soup also tasteless. Pepper steak. The steak was delicious but the pepper sauce had very bland. £100 for two people. We had one drink each....overpriced for what we had. It was very disappointing

Decided to visit the Soo Hoose for lunch today (Mon 14th Oct) with my wife and daughter. The food was served piping hot, fresh and was plentiful. The two waitresses were great and the overall bill represented true value for money. If in the area again, we would definitely return.

Never had a bad meal in here - the food is absolutely to die for - the chef is amazing! Most people we talk to don't know Pierres is even there or will overlook it but it's consistently excellent and if you haven't tried it I highly recommend. They do an excellent Sunday lunch and 'themed' nights to so if you are veggie or vegan they will cater for this too. Superb!
