Grill-Restaurant. An emblematic place with traditional Spanish cuisine and our specialty, roasted in a wood oven.We have special menus for weddings, business lunches, celebrations ...A place to enjoy the pleasure of a good meal is linked with a particular
We sat on the balcony which was a bit narrow bit had the advantage of overlooking the plaza. The service was friendly and the food good though the portions were rather large. Try the roast suckling pig with its crunchy skin and delicate meat. Inside it is we decorated in ancient word.

The central square at Chinchon is surrounded by restaurants and with dinners out on the second floor balcony it looked very picturesque and was the busiest too.We therefore chose it above the others and were happy to be found a table out on the balcony although they are very cramped together. We had anchovies with avocado, tomato and olive oil and calamares a la romana to start. Both were ok but not exceptional and lamb with a mixed salad for the main course. The lamb was tasty and very tender. This was washed down with a bottle of the house red which was recommended by the waiter and was very good.I thought for what we had the price was a little expensive but I would compare this location where you can see all that's happening in the square to a restaurant on the front line at the seaside. One criticism is that we asked for a number of things on the menu they didn't have before settling on our final choices, but contrary to some reviews I found the service friendly and very good.Would I go again? Probably if I go to Chinchon again I will try somewhere else if only to see how they compare.

Wonderful lunch of arroz negro (with calamars) and arroz con langoustines. The restaurant is on the scenic Plaza Mayor. Service is excellent and the only meals we've had were wonderful. The lady who serves offered to take a picture of our group of friends. She is absolutely adorable and helpful.

El Bodegon - how more local and typical can you be !? - is the restaurant of the super 'parador', which offers spectacular monastic architecture and sublime courtyards and inner gardens. The menu is geared around the local specialties.Dishes come in generous portions and prices are very affordable. The food is plain good but not 'refined'. This place is special for its 'cocina de la madre', i.e. what you'd eat at home in this region. Pick this restaurant if you want to indulge in the local lifestyle and cuisine. Not if you are looking for fusion, molecular or trendy experiences.Service is very good, with local waiters and waitresses who take pride in working in such a special place.

The restaurant is located in the Plaza Major in the centre of the pretty little village of Chinchon. The hotel has balconies to overlook the Plaza. The food was excellent, the Gazpacho, nice steak and fries and a really interesting dessert with 'cheese cream' and mango sorbet. If you are looking for an escape from Madrid, get in the car and come here.

A different Restaurant in Chinchon. Family bussiness opened in 2002.Traditional dishes and recipes; located in main square.
We have tried several good restaurants in Chinchon as we stop over, many years, between Alicante and Santander but this one keeps improving. Imaginative, creative, well cooked, ample portions, wide variety of all courses. Great recommendations from staff including excellent local wines. We probably over garlicked today, but tomorrow is another day!
