A week ago we passed this restaurant, saw that you had to go down some creepy stairs to a basement to enter, so decided to pass. What we've learned in Irkutsk is that when it comes to dining, DO NOT judge a book by its cover. A couple days later we returned to Amritta, went down the creepy stairs, opened the weird industrial door and found the nicest, homiest restaurant in Irkutsk! The waitstaff was great and there was one menu in English. The waitress kept trying to make us order the dumplings, but we were hungry so we went for the big item stuff. My wife ordered the beef medallions and creamy potatoes and I ordered the white fish baked under a pile of crispy potatoes and cheese... so good... really stoked the ol' furnace for a winter day. We also had a side of the Korean carrot salad- delicious. This is a place we're going to come back to; must eat our way through the menu!

Very good place in the historical downtown area of the city to try excellent coffee cocktails and spend free time in friendly atmosphere. Coffeeshop Irkutsk has home-made atmosphere and trendy design. I tried out also various cakes; they all had been fresh and tasty. Personal at the cafe was nice and attentive.

The first thing that makes this restaurand different from others is the chairs. They are "equipped" with some very soft pillos, which makes it very comfortable to sit. I only took non-alcoholic mojito and it was good. The people who I've been there with also took some beer and food and they liked it. The restaurant is located in the center of the city but it's very quite inside. I didn't see any flies or bees and didn't hear any cars.

Excellent Service is creating a very nice atmosphere. Had a great starter: smoked Omul with potatoes, highly recommended! Followed by a tasty Fillet Mignon - perfectly prepared. Quality is great, yet the difference makes the service - friendly, joyful, confident, fast and helpful! Thank you for a great evening....

In a non-English speaking country, the service here was the best. Although their price is quite expensive comparing with other local restaurants in Irkutsk, the portions are very big. We had to box our deserts as the salad, soup and main courses had taken us full. The ingredients are fresh, no matter it's sea food or vegs. And all carefully prepared and served. Good place if you are looking for a big meal.

said to be the best restaurant in town - i was not impressed. they wanna be michelin star type of institution but they are far from that. starting with the service and the waiters that were just terrible -- nose in the air type .. not caring one bit about what the customers wants..replying with an attitude when facing complain...I guess the problem is that every dish is super expensive and not really worth it ... they are used to the Rich&Beautiful (R&B) crowd that dont necessarily have the culture of european gourmet food and goes there more to be seen then to enjoy the food ... some opulent men were dining with what seemed to be young "models" where chasing burgundy wine with cola and whiskey!!so nothing special really. if your partners invite you then ok, do it, but dont waste your money.
