We visited here for a late night wine and wished we had found it earlier and spent the evening! We were warmly welcomed from the moment we arrived and the staff worked really hard to compensate for our lack of knowledge of the German Language.Lovely wine, all local and served in a very cozy and convivial setting.Peter the owner gave us a beautiful sparkling wine âon the houseâ to celebrate Englandâs 6-1 win against Panama earlier that day.A must if youâre in Nonnenhorn!

Wir waren mit den Fahrrädern unterwegs und hatten Hunger. Eriskirch bietet da nicht so viel, oder es war geschlossen.Das Strandbad hatte bereits geschlossen, aber rechts daneben, Eingang um die Ecke, ist dieses Restaurant. ...schon etwas versteckt - es braucht sich aber überhaupt nicht zu verstecken.Es verköstigt in der Jahreszeit, in der das Strandbad geöffnet ist, die dortigen Badegäste. Es ist aber auch über die Ãffnungszeiten des Bades hinaus offen.Das Essen war gut, Italienisch geprägt, aber auch andere Richtungen in der Karte.Wegweiser oder Hinweisschilder haben wir keine gesehen, kommen ja vielleicht noch.Uns hat's gefallen und es ist sicherlich gut für viele, die z.B den Bodenseeradweg abradeln oder wandern.

Recommended by hotel staff and only a short walk away I needed to try it. Itâs right by the entrance to the Zeppelin factory.Itâs great. The building is old and inside is classically German. Service was prompt with English menues available. I went simple: French onion soup (German style) followed by a local Swabian âravioli.â Definitely not Italian. Very filling and tasty.Their grilled meats and fish looked good as well, maybe next time.Beer was good and inexpensive. Coffee was great.Dog friendly.You need to have a bill over 30⬠before you can use a credit card. Easy enough to spend that for a party of 2

Buchhorner Suben was our second choice for dinner in Friedrichshafen but it turned out to be a perfect choice. As a main course we had local white fish with almond butter, spinach and parsley potatoes, swabian strip loin steak with roasted onions and thyme-jus, bacon-beans and homemade Spätzles and chicken steaks for children. From the sweets we had dessert variation âBuchhorner Stubenâ and variation of black and white mousse au chocolat. All meals were delicious and serving was stylish as well. Moreover we have been very satisfied also with service. Serving waitress was professional, flexible and modest.

Mutter macht die Küche, Tochter kümmert sich um die Gäste. Wir haben hier zweimal abends gegessen. Beide Male waren wir hoch zufrieden. Die Gerichte sind abwechslungsreich, teils interessante Kreationen. Das Weinangebot ist sehr gut. Die Preise echt moderat.Ohne Reservierung hat man am Abend kaum eine Chance einen Tisch zu bekommen.

...Langenargen befindet sich die Besenwirtschaft beim FU. Sehr urige Ausstattung. Nettes und immer gut gelauntes Personal. Essen ist sehr gut. Und gar nicht teuer aber. Heimische Küche mit Schwäbisch geschriebener Karte. Sehr gut.
