My husband and I stopped by to get a bite while on the MA Pike on our way to Lee, MA (so this was a rest stop). We both tried the Lobster Roll because it was advertised as "real" Lobster. The sandwich was very tasty but for the amount of money we paid I did expect more lobster and more lettuce (I mean we were in MA). I happen to love Lobster rolls and have had them at several different places but I did feel a little bit disappointed (I already said it was very tasty but you be the judge........). Lastly, this building had several different eateries and was kept very clean.
First time visitor. Employees were very friendly and didn't mind explaining the menu choices nor making recommendations. Typical deli sandwiches, salads. Fast service. Very tasty and reasonably priced.

Who ever knew that this was one of the best places for breakfast in Ludlow. Your food is cooked to order in a kitchen that is actually visible...diner type setting. You can sit and read the paper, watch the news, chat with friends. They appear to have a group of regular patrons. No frills, good fresh, home cooking. Limited hours, so check before you go and I hope you do.

I don't know why I crave these things but I do! I have mine with tomatoes, green peppers, and jalapenos. I think they make a nice contrast to the hot egg, melted cheddar (they have mozzarella and something else, I think), and toasty, somewhat chewy flatbread. Man, I could go for one right now! Wish I hadn't written this on an empty stomach!
I was late for lunch one day and had to drop in to Big Y's Grocery store for some staples. I've known for a long time they have a very good deli dept. and you can get sandwiches and fried chicken, etc. as well as the new addition, sushi. Well, I'll tell you, I was hungry. Went to the sandwich shop area and ordered a 6" Italian grinder. (sub, hoggy, to others) ""What would you like on it?" Well, there were at least 8 choices! So I chose! B.Y has a savings card. So I handed this young fellow my card and he tells me my 6" grinder was $3.16! I don't hear well, so I handed him a $10. bill... surprise! I got back a bunch of change and bills. Took the sandwich home, not thinking too much about it and discovered that it was a great sandwich! If you're in the area of a Big Y, and it's time to eat, try big Y. I think you'll like it!

Neighborhood Pizza & Pasta House offers a good pizza for a reasonable cost. Brought one home last night with onion, olives, mushrooms, and pepperoni which was on a thin crust ($13.45 for an 18" cheese pizza plus $1.50 per extra topping). Little over-cooked, but still very good. Staff is always friendly and our pizza was ready last night in 20 minutes. Just a note, they have moved to 2481 Boston Road across from Post Office Park and have a much larger operation and more food choices than before (including a large dining area).

I have been going to Labuda's since I was a child, as had my grandmother and her mother. It's as authentic a Polish market as you are likely to find. It is very small, but the imported foods are all excellent and the Keilbasa etc. is first-rate, drawing people from other states at holiday times. The owners mainly speak Polish but can communicate the basics in English. It seems they are friendlier if you speak Polish to them!
