Just a little stroll off the Hahndorf Academy/Centre is this little restaurant which combine es nice Australian cuisine with an arty ambience. We very much enjoyed the excellent service, which was at times a little rushed. The Brussel sprouts were nice but almost a bit overpowered by garlic! Mains (pulled lamb shoulder and haloumi) were excellent, the apple crumble outstanding! Hello! (Hallo) Thank you for your review. It was really wonderful having you with us. With the lantern festival taking place in town, all-day Saturday had been very busy day for us and your smiles and positivity were very much appreciated. So thank you! :-) I am very glad to know that you enjoyed your food overall, and we appreciate your thoughts regarding the Brussels sprouts. I will pass this onto the kitchen team. Thank you again for joining us, and I wish you well on the rest of your holiday. Kind regards, Erica

With breathtaking views stretching from St Vincent's Gulf to the Adelaide Hills through full-length 180 degree windows, there is no dining destination in Adelaide that can showcase the city like Windy Point. The Restaurant has an understated elegance with
Enjoyable evening and fantastic views. We sat right in prime position, but had booked 2 months ahead so had an uninterrupted view. Maybe the ambience would not be as good on the second row. Three business men behind us on the second row overpowered our conversation, otherwise we would have stayed longer. Their loud conversation shouldnât have been overheard, as it appeared they were talking about security matters! Perhaps the management should check the acoustics of the building. The food was beautifully presented, but the entree pate was a large oblong, which could have done with some toast. Reading another review for the same evening, I agree that the sauce with the barramundi was too fierce, and I left it ...I thought it spoiled the dish. No complaints about service but definitely the businessmen behind us spoiled our celebration evening.

Situated at the spiritual home of Penfolds, the restaurant is located just 8km from the city of Adelaide, approximately a 15 minute journey by car and situated adjacent to the Magill Estate Vineyard, Winery & Cellars. The restaurant combines modern archit
We enjoyed a wine blending experience at the cellar door, followed by a degustation dinner at the restaurant with matched wines. Food was creative and highly enjoyable. They were happy to create a vegetarian degustation for me, and the standard menu for my partner. The celeriac and apple dish was definitely one of the highlights. Matched wines were well thought out and more heavily weighted to white wines which was a pleasant surprise, the traminer being my favourite. Service was super friendly and lots of space between the tables, which is always appreciated. Memorable night out!

The Haus Hahndorf is a dining and social experience like no other. Located in the heart of the stunning Adelaide Hills, The Haus Restaurant showcases an amazing selection of dishes created from the best in local produce which changes with the seasons. Ope
We visited Haus several times during our few months near by. The pancakes were amazing each and every time. And the eggs florentine were great as well! We did visit on one occasion and ordered scones for a friend however all three scone plates delivered were under cooked and needed to be sent back. They were replaced by staff however the ones that came back were better but still werenât great. The waitress did mention she would speak to someone and in turn the supplier after she looked at them. Overall we loved Haus and would still return and recommend. Definitely would revisit if we found ourselves staying in the Adelaide Hills again. HelloThank you so much for dining with us for breakfast and scones and for taking the time to leave us this 4-star review. We have contacted our scone supplier. We hope to welcome you back again in the near future.Kind regards,The Haus Management Team

Arthur Waterhouse was the second owner of Mount Lofty House. While Arthur Hardy was known for lavish parties for Adelaide's elite, Arthur Waterhouse took a more relaxed approach to life and enjoyed nothing more than relaxing in his lounge and looking out
Booked in late in the afternoon and were looking for a casual drink and light meal. The bar is well stocked and the meals are very high quality. A little expensive however you really only get what you pay for. Highly recommend.

I haven't been here for a while and the complex is under new management. It is still as enchanting as ever but the food is pretty good now. We had the Chef's Selection - feed Me menu and were not disappointed. We told our waitress what we didn't want and what foods we loved and she made sure the right foods came out. As these are sharing plates, they were not huge serves but because there were 4 courses, including dessert, there was ample to eat! We ended up having the Beef tartare and roasted zucchini - you would not have known the beef was raw as it was so beautifully tender and mixed with some delicious flavours. Most of the produce is from the gardens so very fresh and aromatic. We had the mullet, lamb and a couple of vegetarian dishes for mains and the lamb was so tender. The roasted cauliflower was accompanied by pomegranate, capers and hazelnut. A delicious combination. I have to mention the Apricot tart tatin for desert the pastry was so fine! Overall a very pleasurable experience with excellent attention and service. The wine list is not huge but mostly local wines if I remember correctly. We'll return soon!

Mount Lofty House was built in 1852 for Arthur Hardy. It was his summer residence, but it also became a venue for the most lavish parties, where Arthur would take great delight in hosting Adelaide's high society. Today, the space has been transformed into
We were a group of 8 celebrating a significant family birthday and in anticipation of a long night, we all booked rooms to stay. We were allocated a semi-private space which we really appreciated. The night unfolded at an appropriately leisurely pace and the food was excellent. Innovative cuisine with a good variety of food styles. Everyone loved it. One word of caution. Don't let your kids get hold of the wine menu. The wines they ordered were very good but the final total on checkout was a bit of a surprise!
